    It actually is an RPG.

You start off with a certain number of points in each category: power, stamina, speed, technique, chin, accuracy, etc. Some guys are more naturally predisposed towards certain categories than others. One beginner may already have a great chin, but poor footwork. Another beginner has good accuracy, but lacks in power.

As you train, you level up. You can choose to focus on 1-2 things to put your xp into, or try to be well rounded. Running and skipping rope raises stamina, hitting the speed and double end bag can help with timing. Hitting mitts improves combination ability, etc.

Tiers exist. An ATG h2h monster is usually untouchable by boxers 2 entire tiers blow him like a fringe contender. And even a fringe contender is often untouchable by a beginner with less than 10 fights. Styles do matter, along with how you choose to put your xp into your different category points. Generally speaking, the best h2h fighters have superb "overall ratings" just like in 2K games, you rarely see ATG h2h monsters who have poor, below average ratings in any of the main stat categories.

Fury wins two out of three, gets stopped badly in one.

Pat said Canelo beats Rocky and thought Jarrel Miller would've beaten Fury and Wilder, I'm not sure why you keep sucking up to him. Some of his analysis make sense in terms of boxing mechanics and training methods, but he also has an equal number of truly baffling and absurd opinions many trainers or boxing historians would laugh at.

Personally I don’t put any stock into boxing “historians” takes on actual boxing. I “suck up” to @Pat M because he knows things I don’t, he shares it quite freely and I enjoy talking to him quite regularly lmao… everybody in boxing has an opinion great trainers predict fights wrong and so do champions in real time so “baffling” and “absurd” don’t concern me seeing as we both fall into that category for boxing opinions

I’ll trade you my Pre Diabetic Bakole for your PED Povetkin? He’s got an overall rating of 89 / 120 and gets a boost of 15% if he fights in any African city and 5% in an outdoor arena.

Certainly seems plausible Miller could beat Wilder. Canelo beating Rocky is maybe less likely but not beyond the realm of possibility.

And yet you haven't explained how it's wrong. You do understand it's an analogy, right?

How would you feel if you didn't eat breakfast this morning?
