Tony Yoka v AJ (2016 SHW Gold v 2012 SHW Gold) & The Bounty Hunter v The Real Big Baby. That's some thoughtful match-making right there. Now someone just needs to put on Bakhodir Jalolov (2020 & 2024 SHW Gold) v Ivan Dychko (2012 & 2016 SHW Bronze).
Was a pretty good fight, not great. Best part of the card was the Gheshlaghi upset in the main event.
I have no confidence this actually comes off, but yeah, this crowns the United States Champion, basically. Go Hunter!
This content is protected Adamek returning against another MMA fighter in the boxing ring next month. Only this is one is young enough to be his son, has fast hands and solid boxing for an MMA fighter. Goral might be in trouble here. Soldic was the last man to defeat current UFC MW champion Dricus Du Plessis and he did so by knockout. This is a risky fight. I'd rather see Adamek in with the other older heavyweights. Soldic is one of the last MMA guys on earth to challenge to a boxing match lol, man hits like a H-bomb.
He's a big name over in Poland/Eastern Europe so I can see why Adamek wants the fight. But I sure hope he isn't underestimating this guy.
Wish he was in UFC honestly, any man that can walk down and KO DDP deserves world-wide recognition in the fight game IMO.
I didn’t see Adamek’s last fight, did he look like he had much left in the tank? Are these exhibition matches that he is doing glorified sparring sessions or are these actual fights?
He looked well past it, but for a 47-48 year old man who's glory days were between the Bush and Obama administrations he didn't look terrible. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/130824-fame-27-kingdom This one's a real a 8 rounder according to tapology although Boxrec isn't listing it. They're funny that way sometimes.
Thank you for the information! I’ll have to check out his last fight when I have time. These matches are at heavyweight or cruiserweight? I imagine he has lost some mass as he ages so figured he would be fighting around cruiserweight limit by now.
Is Lanier Pero world number 3? A bit random, but I'm curious to see how a former Opetaia opponent stacks up in the heavies.
