Did Hector Camacho really outbox Roberto Duran in 1996?

Never forget that Roberto beat a Jorge Castro in 1997 who was 18 months removed from the WBA middleweight crown.

Duran should have been the rightful winner of their first fight.

Duran beat Castro 2x, Camacho the first time around and Pazienza the first time around

he should have 3 more wins against Hall of Famers in his resume

Duran was robbed in both Paz 1 and Camacho.

    It is absolutely criminal.

Duran was beating champions 15 years younger than him. To have those two scalps on his ledger put him top 5 ATG. I personally give him those fights when I do my rankings.

Duran won the first fight. Pazienza was cut to ribbons and dropped. If not for Vinny headbutting Duran, Roberto wouldn't of had a mark on him.

Outside of Pazienza's mauling tactics and ineffective shoeshing it was a bit one sided. Still frustrating to watch becauase Duran was so slow at that point.

Probably one of the best wins ever for a fighter over the age of 40.

Also it has to be up with the most combined fights between two fighters facing eachother. Didn't both Castro & Duran have like 100 odd fights between them at that point.
