In terms of rounding out Usyk's legacy, I'm going to give an odd ball answer and say: Hunter (though actually the winner of Hunter v Miller).

Usyk already beat Hunter at cruiserweight. However, since then at heavyweight, Hunter picked up the "0"s of both Kuzmin and Bakole (i.e., was the first to beat them).

If Usyk beats Parker, Kabayel, and Hunter. I think at that point the full set of "0"s for significant fighters in this era would all pass to Usyk.

Wilder has already had all the juice squeezed out of him. And Wardley is not really this era.

I am not sure anyone will agree but I respect the opinion.

It's a pity Jalolov hasn't made waves and looked like being the next big thing. Uysk signing out with a next generation fight would be good. Itauma would be ok if he gets past Whyte.

A lot of these options are horrendous I won't lie.

Pointless rematches to trilogies to Itauma when he has literally just beaten a retired NFL footballer. Wilder lost to the last two good fighters he fought and his last win was against someone literally ranked 275th worldwide. Far too early for Wardley as well, he needs at least two/three more wins against those in the top 10 to be in contention for a title shot. Beterbiev makes no sense either.

I do get he is a CW but Opetaia would genuinely be a better option than most of those listed and thats not even to say it would be acceptable for Usyk to fight him next.

Parker has earned his shot, then I'd say Kabayel next in line if Parker picked up a serious injury.

It’s really Joe Parker and nobody else at this point. Joe’s earned his shot.

    It's only Parker and Kabayel.

It's crazy that some people are actually saying Itauma.

No, he would be chided for doing anything with a russian, even for mentioning him as a potential opponent

really? Guess I’m thinking of Louis-Schmeling 2 a little too much? Because that’s what I’d expect for Usyk in there with a Russian. Come out of the gate like a bat out of hell and end it quick.
