Man that was boring. Why bother to have them on Face Off if it’s gonna be like that? Dillian can be fun with someone to bounce off of, but that wasn’t the case here. Also can we get Moses Itauma a more interesting haircut? He looks like one of the computer generated boxers in Fight Night.
So what! He makes up for it by putting on entertaining matches and some quality **** talking in the lead up to his fights. What good is Itauma? Some bland robotic KO machine shows up takes someone out, clocks out and goes back to burying his nose in his iPhone. Give me a ****ing reason to care! I don't give a **** about him, and no one else does. The same thing is happening here with that nerd void Bam Rodriguez. There's zero humanity, zero charisma, zero charm, zero passion. Those things aren't a detriment and instead should be encouraged. What? Are we literally living in a A Clockwork Orange society, and the entire younger generation have had their souls removed via Ludovico Technique Woke conditioning?
I find a lot of them can be one of two ways. A dead eyed mong like Itauma or a delusional big mouth ass clown like Jake Paul.
Knock it off with the dick riding. You can like watching Crawford all you want, that's perfectly fine, but please don't patronize me by big upping his non-existent personality. He's like a charisma black hole, and to be perfectly honest, he does exhibit some borderline psychopathic tendencies. He's even admitted he took up the sport to get his anger out, so he enjoys beating people up. Which is fine, but also pretty dark. He's restrained because he's biding his time and planning his next in ring assault. Itauma is just a ****ing vacant bump on a log.
They should've had Gareth A Davies host the face off so he could ask Whyte again if he showers before a fight This content is protected
Hands up I’m bang into Crawford but I’m not a rider, I didn’t bring up his personality but since you opened the door… I can completely see why you would think or say that about him, even when I’m a fan of a fighter I’m as likely to go to war for them as they are for me, so in that respect I’m not going to try and convince you or anyone else that your opinion is wrong. Your opinion is valid and only slightly less valid than mine, but the thing I would say that I do like about how he conducts himself is that he always shows the respect for the sport and he is reluctant to talk shite about other fighters even when pressed, I watched an interview podcast thing not long ago where he was heavily pressed to talk shite about tank, it’s pretty well known that he doesn’t like the guy and they don’t get along but he didn’t go there instead he flipped it and actually focused on tank’s qualities. This is a trait that I think is very much lacking in boxing these days. There are a few exceptions like bivol, beterbiev, the monster and usyk (Usyk is different because he’s got more personality than almost all the others champions combined) but the others mentioned get praised for the same thing you are bashing Crawford on. Yeah I might actually be riding a bit here like…
Sounds horrific, to be honest. I'm sorry you went through that... even if you still probably can't see it for what it really was. Just because certain things were acceptable back then doesn't mean they were right.
You can't talk about the good of the sport if you're happy to give people who have popped multiple times for performance-enhancing substances a free pass, though, can't go both ways, can it? I couldn't care less about charisma personally, it's about how they perform on the night. I'd rather a fighter be entertaining and elite inside the ring, like Bam, and reserved outside of it, than the likes of Big Pharma Miller, who pops for juice twice a month, gets found out by top fighters, but can tally up the views on YouTube because he knows how to scream at an interviewer. As long as Itauma does the business in the ring his personality doesn't bother me, not to the extent where I'd want him to get sparked by a proven juicer anyway.
Not at all bad. The punishment was harsh but the fact was, It taught me respect and that there are consequences to my actions. Something that is lacking today. Now, I can't speak for my friend with the stretched out ears, but I had a decent childhood.
Man, my dad used his hand a belt and a board we had to get from the gate. He called it the board of education because he was teaching us a lesson. For a guy that didn't have a sense of humor that **** makes me laugh now.
