Scared to back it up because you know what will happen.

I'm not sure you actually watched the fight. Francis won the vast majority of the fight against Joshua but got effectively taken out when he stepped into a perfect pull counter.

He would've lost to Usyk assuming it happend closer to 85 than 80. Holmes actually got stopped when he last fought a southpaw.

    LOL

Oh you mean joshua was careful and tenative because he didn't want to end up an embarrassment to the boxing world like Fury. Ngannou was probably past his prime dude. Fury made the whole sport look fraudulent and it's all on him.

We can say whatever about fantasy fights but it's all opinion. Fury going like an death with an older UFC fighter on his debut is not necessarily an opinion when the judges scored a split decision and Fury got floored twice. Holmes had how many ameture fights again ? Like I said, under no circumstances is the Fury win better. Who did more cherrypicking? FURY. Who has the lesser legacy? FURY

    Holmes would beat Furys ass

It was basically a poor man's Lewis--Ruddock but Francis had a little more success than Ruddock.

Either way, it's moot because Fury was out of shape against Francis and just trying to get a safety first win against him wihtout screwing up thr Usyk paycheck, which is what he did.

It's not opinion that Nick Wells stopped Holmes and Holmes never fought a southpaw again.

Which relevant Southpaws were in Holmes's era that he could've fought ?

You're suggesting he avoided southpaws but there was not a single relevant Southpaw in his era.

Well I think it's obvious Ruddock would power drill Ngannou to the canvas. It would be one of his easiest fights. If you want to object go ahead

Fury shouldn't have gotten tagged so many times by jabs and power punches when people make him out to be a superheavyweight Ali, Ngannou was a plodder with wild punches and 0 professional boxing experience.

The facts are he's a 0-2 boxer who Fury struggled with.

0-2 isn't a world class boxer whatever sparring you did with Carlos Takam.

He might be the best 0-2 heavyweight but that's it.

Fury hasn't won against a world class heavyweight for years now. And probably never will again. Ngannou is unlikely to ever win a boxing match at all.

As for the thread Spinks's win over Holmes is better.

Holmes is far greater than Fury.

Spinks beat a long reigning Heavyweight champion in his 1st fight at Heavyweight which is a better achievement.

Its not like he fought some bum off the streets he fought the lineal HW champ of the world in MMA who has been training boxing for years. And apparently styles don't matter if you're an MMA fighter. But I guess the limit of your analysis is reading off of BoxingRec.

I would've liked to have seen Ruddock fight Francis. It would be whoever landed first, but Ruddock would be favored.

Usyk over Fury for me. Holmes was starting to show wear and tear, whereas Fury is actually younger than Usyk and the size of a small building.

I'm suggesting he's 0-1 against relevant southpaws. I'll also go ahead and suggest that he avoided a lot of the best opponents avaliable throughout his title reign.
