Ward thinks he could beat AJ

Wards two biggest possible bags would probably be Canelo and AJ. The Canelo fight is unlikely to happen... which leaves AJ.

The thing about AJ fight is its relatively a win win fight for Ward. If he miraculously makes it a great showing and gives AJ problems somehow... his star grows substantially.

If AJ blasts him out in a couple rounds, it doesnt effect Wards legacy at all.

whereas if he came back for a bag against the triple Bs... Benavidez, Bivol or Beterbiev, and lost, which he would, he wouldn't have the luxury of not losing legacy when he loses.

But for AJ, this fight would make less sen$e than even the Jack Paul matchup.

Fight has very little chance of happening, imo.

 

People say AJ didn't deserve his gold medal, which he didn't, but neither did Dre and at least AJ actually fought with some kind of honour and didn't turn up to try and steal his way onto the podium by holding like an octopus and spoiling like crazy in order to prevent his opponents from being able to land scoring punches like the unethical disgrace he and his revolting cowardly style are

Dre is trying to entice Turki into to putting up the money to finance the fight. He could've done this when AJ was the champion or in his prime but he didn't have the balls to do that and he knows full well his boring, in and out of the ring, phoney ass couldn't sell even in his prime and that they had to hand out thousands of comp tickets even in his hometown to fill the arenas

In fact, GGG sold more tickets in Dre's home state fighting a nobody than Dre did facing a top contender in his hometown even though the tickets for GGG's fight were more expensive. That sums Dre and his ugly cheating style up which FTR should be as illegal as all the filthy dirty tactics which he relied on so heavily in order from him to attain any level of any success in this sport.

AJ should tell him to go screw himself and let him try and earn his way into a pay day by working his way up from the bottom like the best and only way he knows how: By holding like an octopus and fouling the crap out of his opponents like he forged an entire career doing both amateur and pro, and in his hometown/home state on a deck heavily stacked in his favour as a pro
