With his fluidity, speed of hand and speed of feet Itauma should not get caught by Whyte who is both overrated and underrated. If Itauma is for real he will Whyte. If he is not for real Whyte could expose him. Seen a lot of Whyte the good the bad and the ugly. I know he is you gu and I can respect that but you do appreciate they are trying to use him as a stepping stone for the young buck.
If we're comparing Moses to Mike Tyson's career, who was his Dillian Whyte as the first real step up opponent?
I think this is a bad matchup for Whyte. Whyte has always been chinny and he is facing someone who has proven speed and power. My only concern is Itauma has unknown intangibles: Can he take a shot? Does he have heart? Will his stamina carry into the later rounds? I don't think any of this matters against Whyte, who I think will hit the canvas once he catches a few hard shots from Itauma. Whyte does have a punchers chance and if Itauma is packing glass, Whyte could knock him out. I just don't see it happening, I doubt Whyte lands clean to test his chin.
Perhaps someone should have been telling Whyte that before he tested positive again and again and again. Some aren't prepared to get there by hard work alone. Not when they can cut corners and cheat. Whyte is a serial offender who deserves to be doubted.
I can only see Whyte taking a beating, speed is the best thing to beat a plodder and Itauma has that.
Itauma KO within the first 3. Round 1 KO may be a tasty bet as well. Whyte is showing up to get knocked out.
Absolutely. Whyte's mandible is as fragile as they come. He puts the G into glass jaw: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/dillian-whyte-has-a-glass-jaw.653958/ Agree, he most definitely takes a canvas nap within three and could be put to sleep in the first.
With the potential WBO fight against Parker now on the line, I'm going to let my heart rule my head for old times sake on this one: Whyte by late stoppage (with a side of getting jobbed on the cards)
Moses is bigger than I thought. I always thought he was a smallish HW around 6-2 but in the face off with Whyte he looks like a legit 6-4 but he is not lanky at all and has the proportions of a 6 footer. Weird.
He looked about 6'2.5 to me, he was shorter than Whyte who is about 6'3. I have no idea where the 6'5 and 6'6 measurements for him are coming from though.
There is nothing in how Whyte looks that needs steroids to achieve, its a completely achievable physique for someone like Whyte. He would be taking gear for things like recovery though, so he can workout harder for longer and more often, and stack up the strength in a shorter time frame. If he somehow pops against, that is pure sloppiness on his part, most fighters seem to manage their drug regimen just fine.
