Yes in hindsight Wallin was overrated but at the time Wallin was considered a banana skin opponent for Joshua no one thought it would be as easy as what actually transpired.
Bob Arum even picked Wallin to beat AJ, lol. A lot of guys on this very forum said it would be tough test for Joshua.
High Rankings only have merit if the rankings are justified. The joshua fans have already claimed that Wallin/Chisora was a fixed fight just to dismiss the fact that an old gatekeeper with a dozen losses put a beating on Otto, which is proof he was never a true top contender, yet the same fans who say Wallin was top 10 claim joshua was shot when Dubois smoked him like a pack. Which one is it ? The reality is Wallin is not good enough to beat any top contenders regardless of his ranking, and you have no proof that he ever has.
You said it yourself, Wallin was overrated in hindsight. You can't even tell me which top contenders Otto beat. Beating Wallin doesn't mean anything
You claimed Wallin’s advantages over Joshua were everything besides power and size, so I don't think you should debate this topic. You clearly rated him highly, considering AJ was a Top 4 guy at the time And don't take one guy's opinion as "Joshua fans". It's just one guy, lol.
aj took 7 times longer than Wilder to get rid of a 40 year old Helanius and got tagged several times, Otto winning wasn't far fetched at the time. But it doesn't really matter does it. Beating Wallin doesn't mean anything LOL Wallin hasn't beaten any top contenders and never made a good accout of himself against a great. His top 10 ranking isn't based on anything credible, therfor he isn't a top 10 heavyweight.
It's nothing special. Wallin was never a top contender and nobody has hard proof of it. But I'm not going to blame anyone who thought Wallin had a chance Ruiz wasn't even ranked in the top 10 when he beat ajs ass. joshua was a big bookies favorite over Dubois and look what happened.
With every post you surprise me more, its like going deeper and deeper in a cave that just doesn’t end.
A lot people thought Ngannou could beat AJ. That doesn't mean they thought Ngannou was a great fighter.
He fought a Dubois who was coming off 2 stoppage wins over undefeated opponents. Meaning he fought a good opponent. My whole point, Einstein And btw, I've asked you nicely to stop spamming this forum and now the Classic too with your stupid troll threads which I've noticed a lot of other posters complaining about recently so kindly heed that advice and cut it out
Exactly, he didn't beat any good opponents in the past 5 years. Ruiz wasn't even ranked when he KO'd aj and Pulevs prime was in the Klitschko era lol
