This came out of left field. Good fight, nonetheless.

Ok fight but not the breakout/signature fight Vergil needs.

Lubin is better than the guy Ennis is fighting with that said he's gonna get his glass jaw shattered.

Really like Lubin but he’s getting beaten up here. Lubin is the IBF mandatory so it would seem that Vergil is chasing after Murtazaliev. Interesting.

Ortiz is all wrong for Lubin; he will hunt Lubin's fragile mandible like a great white to a prime ribeye.

I'm still very interested in hearing the life affirming experience you had at a Jiffy L**e.

And a smart move too, in my opinion. Everyone is running scared of Murtazaliev, really based off only one fight.

You should scroll through a few comment sections on BoxingSc*n* every once in a while. The amount of censored words there is absurd and means plenty of harmless words have chunks taken out of them because of the massive number of banned words they have over there.

Even Murtazalievs MANDATORY challenger is ducking him!

Even as world champion, no one wants to fight Murtazaliev!

Decent match up Lubin might win a few rounds before Ortiz turns his lights out.

I can't believe Ortiz and Ennis never even came close to striking a deal at 147 despite both being the most exciting and offensive fighters in the division for years. Looks like the fight isn't even getting close to happening as of right now. Extended marination has ruined too many matchups, these two should be rushing to fight each other. Lubin is getting his head smashed in, but I suppose Ortiz did earn an easy fight after facing Bohachuk and Madrimov back to back.

Yeah, apart from the Tszyu demolition (who was already damaged goods to a certain extent), Murtazaliev really hasn't done all that much impressive imo. An ancient Culcay was outboxing him for large stretches of their fight. I know that Murtazaliev was fasting for Ramandan for that fight, but I also know he inverted his sleep schedule so that he was training at night and could eat when he wanted, so I'm not sure how much that can be used to explain away his performance. There are a lot of question marks around Murtazaliev still.

Definitely, I'm tipping when all is said and done, the evaluation of Murtazaliev, post Tszyu fight is going to appear as an over- correction. Fundora will probably shine through in the finish, out of all the current 154 pounders. Fundora loves to fight, fight on the inside, abandon his huge advantages until now. He seemed to have finally realised this after the first fight with Tszyu. He's now boxing a lot more behind his jab/reach. He's gonna be virtually impossible to beat at 154 from here on in. Plus factor in the slugfest/wars he previously put himself through, toughened him up, to the point where he has a good chin. It's been tested a ****ing lot, it was bound to fail him at least once, vs Mendoza and he was dominating that fight also up to that point. It will come down to Ortiz or Fundora. I lean towards Fundora right now.
