Michael Hunter talks about sparring Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko

I could see him getting Vitali "out on his feet" with heavy air quotes for maybe a second. Not cause he's that strong or anything, but because Vitali didn't go hard in sparring if I understand right. So I could see Hunter sucker punching him with a full force punch when he wasn't expecting it, and maybe making him stumble for a second which Hunter later exaggerates for dramatic effect.

In other words, nothing to brag about. Certainly not to the level Usyk had Fury, or... well, him

I also remember that babbling idiot james toney saying he “KOed Wladimir in sparring” too. As it turns out… they never even ****ing sparred.

I guess that’s the level of these idiots integrity! Actually LIE about getting the better of other fighters to… gain credit I guess.?!

I remember that idiot Toney getting upset when Danny Green made a joke about him showing up late to sparring. Toney was trying his best to kill the much smaller Green in there. Danny took some good shots but he just kept coming and Toney wasn’t happy he threatened to go to his car to get his gun until Jeff Fenech told him to pull his head in. So if he couldn’t KO super middleweight Green I don’t see him putting a dent in Wlad.

 

When boxers start talking sparring stories you know they're desperate for a payday. In the words of Allen Iverson, "We're talking about practice?! Practice?!? Practice?!"

 

Vitali was known for messing around in sparrings, plus he was 42 at the time. Wlad on the other hand... If he didn't knock out 1 person a week, he wasn't happy with the training camp, lol.

 

Hunter is one of the biggest mouths in boxing. It wasn't long ago he lost to Suslenkov. He is old, hopeless, and was never very good to begin with. Just a decent top 20 sort of character.
