    I am sorry.

You are undisputed champ of the world, you have 4 belts, you have all the glory and prestige of being a heavyweight champ, and 1 responsibility - you gotta defend

and you dont want to, you are tired, injured, you fight once a year, and you think you deserve a time with your family, with hundreds of millions in your pocket

No, you gotta fight Parker, no rematches, then fight Kabayel, no rematches, then whoever, but you gotta fight and defend

and if you refuse? like you do, you gotta be stripped

Usyk already done everything there is to do and proven everything there is to prove. He did it in the best possible way, at the highest level of difficulty, often serving as the "B" side in opponents' territory. He doesn't have to do anything. The fact that he can't keep up with his championship duties stems mainly from having to beat all the heavyweights twice. Parker deserves the fight, but let's be honest. The federation ordered negotiations practically immediately after the Dubois fight. It would be best for them if Usyk could agree to a fight without even leaving the ring... If they want to take his belts and give them away, fine. Usyk has already been the undisputed champion twice, so it means nothing. At worst, it will end up like Daniel, who received the belt as a gift and then got beaten. Because there's only one king in heavyweight, and his position doesn't depend on the federation's policies, as has already been clearly confirmed.

I think an undisputed champion should be fighting at the very least twice a year, more often if they are doing rematches. The division gets backed up otherwise as guys get their mandatories and wait for their shot.

In an ideal world a belt gets defended against its mandatory within 2 years at the max. Yes I understand Usyk was mucked around a bit by Fury, but Fury was legitimately injured, and Usyk didn't have to agree to a Joshua rematch. He has also had relatively long gaps between his fights when he could have fought more often.

Even now, with the extension granted by the WBO it will probably be about 3 months after his last fight before they even decide to fight Parker or not, and then the date of the fight will be at least 3 months after that because Usyk likes long camps. All up it wouldn't surprise me if the gap between fights was 8 months or more.

This will slowly drain the life out of the division as fighters sit on their mandatories and people can't advance, we won't get good fighters fighting each other.

Too many excuses made for Usyk.
When he moved up from cruisers he was practically handed a mandatory position and the best heavyweight he beat was Chisora. AJ gave him a shot no excuses. Despite the Covid lock down landscape he got his shot quite promptly.

    Parker deserves his shot.
    Kabayel deserves a shot.
And a whole field of (mostly non-British) heavyweights are being ignored while people suck off Usyk for beating Fury twice, the same Fury who did pretty much nothing from 2016 to 2024 except a trilogy with Wilder.

Yeah when you look at it, he has been on the throne for at least 6 years, and he only beat 3 fighters

He's just fought 3 times in 14 months so he is not fighting once a year

As for AJ giving Usyk a title shot

Usyk invoked the WBO's rule re. when one of their champions from a lower division moves up in weight to the division above they automatically become the mandatory challenger in that division and receive a title shot

He's done this just once and he had 2 fights at the new weight after moving up to HW and didn't receive a title shot for 2 years

But when Crawford invokes the exact same rule three times at different weights (140, 147 and 154) without having a single fight at either of those respective weights before receiving his title shots all of which he received in a combined 28 months in total (5 for the first one, 10 for the second, and 13 for the 3rd) no one has an issue with him ''not earning'' his shots like they do with Usyk at HW

And Crawford is about to waltz into a title shot at 168 for all four belts, two divisions North of the division he's just come up from, without ever having beaten a 160 pounder, let alone a 168

So that's four times without ever having fought a single fight at any of those weights before receiving his title shots

I checked Kabayel's record on boxrec:

    2018: 1 fight
    2019: 1 fight
    2020: 1 fight
    2021: 1 fight
    2022: 1 fight
    2023: 2 fights
    2024: 1 fight
    2025: 1 fight

Yes but Parker overdue his shot.
There was no obligation on Usyk/Fury to rematch. That was something they cooked up between them.
There was no obligation for Usyk v Dubois 2. That was Usyk's choice and Dubois literally ducked out of a signed fight with Parker. Dubois the first time around was an undeserving mandatory but got his shot anyway.
Parker is not even young. He's done enough to get a shot. So has Kabayel.

According to the WBO regulations, a reigning WBO cruiserweight champion can be installed as the WBO heavyweight mandatory challengerbut only if he first secures “Super Champion” status and formally requests the move.

Usyk was designated as a "super champion", because he held multiple belts of other major sanctioning bodies (he was the undisputed cruiserweight champion, IBF, WBC, WBA and WBO). A champion is designated as "super champion", if he meets these requirements:
    • Quality amateur career (Usyk: olympic gold medalist, amateur world champion)
    • Quality professional resume (Briedis, Bellew, Gassiev, Huck, Hunter, Glowacki)
    • Multiple title defenses against quality opponents (Briedis, Bellew, Gassiev, Huck, Hunter, Mchunu)
    • Holds belts from other major bodies (WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO)

Thus, mandatory heavyweight challenger position wasn't "given" to Usyk, he got it by right.

He's fought 8 times and 5 fighters in six years and there are numerous reasons why, which of course you already know, he was inactive prior to being very active of late, fighting three times in 14 months which is not fighting once a year now is it?

He has a 30 day extension not 30 weeks or 30 months

Those 3 names were champions holding belts, not cab drivers.

    Same as Parker then.

Parker earned WBO mandatory in March 2024.

Best ones in that time. That's matter.

No one cares about belts. He done already all historical stuff. If they strip him from WBO nothing happend really. We already got similar situation with Dubois. How better Usyk is he show in second fight.

There will be always new names, people who dont have chance to fight him and boxers who might have a chance to win in fans minds but as I said- Usyk done all. Now he "can" not "must"
