I have awful eyesight. I'm the wrong guy to ask.

All joke aside. I mean we really don't have a clear picture of the HW division over the past decade. We don't know anything compared to other eras. Given how much time has passed we never will. It is what it is. Who knows who was better than Otto Wallin in like 2019 or 2020? We have no clue. Fury chose to fight Wallin he didn't chose to fight Kabayel, Sanchez or Steve or Bob or whoever.

No, but he's a good fringe contender, and boxing needs guys like that, too.

He easily could have been a top-ten guy in the Post-Lewis and Klitschko eras, when shotter than shot retreads like Rahmen and Maskeav were champs, talentless feather-dusters like Lyakovich made it, free-swingning tough-men like Peter were hyped, diminutive guys like Eddie Chambers were top contenders, and guys like Leapai, Sosnowski, Kingpin Johnson and Pianeta contended.

I may be in the minority in here (as per usual) but I think it is closer to top ten heavyweight in history.

Wallin didn’t even have a notable win prior to getting the Fury fight.

His best win was a decision over 15-2 Adrian Granat.

He was plucked out of obscurity to give weight loss Fury some rounds.

And even after the Fury fight his biggest win is over an injured CW.

He has been a top ten fighter on occasion, however it's never really been on merit and more to do with other boxers actions etc

Showed a bit of promise initially but never progressed at all

Wallin would get destroyed by someone as mediocre as Sanchez. Bakole is overrated and he would roll Wallin up

Where's the gotcha ? No boxing fan i know of considers Jackson a top 10 heavyweight at any point in the 90s.
