It is easy to throw punches when your opponent isn't throwing back. Had Hrgovic took some punches we would have seen the same gassed Hrgovic by rnd 6

Adeleye was never really hurt. He was exhausted. Big difference.

Hrgovic needs to stop showing off his chin. Yeah, he has an incredible one but there is no point to prove it. He needs to work on his defense and his power.

 

Hrgovic should be pushed into the fire against Parker or Kabayel, he would probably be outboxed but he should take the risk...

 

Yeah Dubois' headbutts were too much for Hrgovic that night.

When you throw a 1-2, your hips are supposed to square up because you put your hips into the right hand.
Actually, your right hip should extend further because you should be pushing your head off of the center line too.
Hrgovic doesn't even square his hips when he lets his right hand go.

And the craziest thing is that he still has power on that right hand! If only he had the right technique...

 

Rounds were competitive tho. What ****ing fight did you watch?

 

Hrgovic played Caveman Lee to Adeleye's John LoCicero. Probably not the comparison you want me to make if you think he's capable of going anywhere.

 

I remember feeling the same way about Parker, but look how he has turned it around.

 

Adeleye barely did anything in the first half of that fight, I don't get how he was gassed, he barely threw a punch. His gas tank must be the size of the thimble. He has decent hand speed and power but he doesn't have the skills or gas tank to be able to utilise them with any consistency.

Hrgovic looked like Hrgovic, he'll never change, hell of a chin though. His stamina seems better but he basically fought that fight at his pace against an opponent who only fought 30 seconds of a round. That gas tank is still questionable until he faces an opponent that actually dictates the pace of the fight for periods and tests his ability to raise his pace when needed to.

 

I agree with most of your posts, but I have to say I also thought hrgovic was piecing Dubois up until the cut without the cut I think was going to stop him
