Disappointing, I had hoped Whyte would at least ask some questions of Itauma. We are still to see how he does when faced with adversity. I guess we'll have to keep waiting for that because it's likely nobody will test time until he steps him up to the top level.

Whyte might be shot but I still thought that was impressive. Good jab, body shots.

Was just going to post the same thing Itauma looks like he was born to be a boxer add the Hand Eye Coordination and the speed you have a serious dude only 20 years old. Needs to stay grounded and not get carried away with himself though and he could rule the division for years and make some serious paper.

Didn't you pick Dubios to beat Usyk?

Can happily say I'm wrong on this one though, thought Whyte had much more to give than that

Whyte is obviously totally shot. Absolutely nothing left. Good old fashioned no danger name win for Itauma.

I'd like to see him in with someone like Hrgovic who has an insane chin. I still think he's gonna get exposed at some point imo. Usyk fight even being discussed is a joke.

He started using it against Tetteh, or maybe even Franklin, to protect himself from the uppercut.

    Disagree...

Hrgovic would be the first non-shot gatekeeper to test Itauma, his chin is legit and he'd genuinely test the hype narrative.

If Itauma doesn't have an average or better chin, Hrgovic would have a chance at stopping him...
And if Itauma doesn't have the stamina to go 10-12 rounds, Hrgovic will stand a chance on cards if his chin holds up.

Remember: beat a hypejob, become a hypejob... If Itauma turns out to be overhyped, the first person to beat him will get a huge boost - Hrgovic isn't special, not by a long shot, but he could really cash in if Itauma isn't.

And if Itauma wins, at least it'd be a decent payday

Yeah I was hoping for a bit of a scrap. This was easier than some of his journeymen demolition jobs.

    Put him in with Hrgovic.

Sad how Whyte got into apparently the best shape of his career, only to not throw any punches and get stopped in a minute and a half.
