Christ, even Wach put up more of a fight, and he's been practically moribund since the Povetkin loss.

Give Itauma a shot at Usyk. Why not? As long as he lands a half-solid punch, it'd be a moral victory. It's certainly a more exciting and interesting fight than Parker imo.

Fair play to him for saying Kabayel and Parker deserve a shot at Usyk first. Respectful.

I think Whyte knew how shot he was. Something about him when he entered the ring.

The fight went exactly as I predicted and expected. Itauma looks impressive but he needs to be tested (he never took clean punches to the chin and he never was taken into deep waters).

Whyte looked completely washed, even more so than in the Tetteh fight, I was hoping he was back on the good stuff and would come in like Evan Fields.

I wish Moses would stop doing that crossing his hands on his chest thing I'm sure he got that of The Dosser

Why do people say Moses is a small HW he's massive? I said ages ago that his body is weird as in he's at least 6'4" but he's built like he's a stocky 5'10" and he's 245-250lbs at 20 y/o

It's the combo of speed and power. Easily at Mike Tyson level, perhaps greater, with a 79in reach.

But we still know **** all about his stamina and chin. The boxing gods never give it all to one man. One of those two will be an issue. I'm hoping it's stamina because it's going to take a lot to last 6 rounds against him if he's got a good chin. If he's got a Hrgovic level chin, he'll be undisputed one day. And I assume the Nigerian genes will save him from cuts.

Now Whyte will magically become a banana skin who wasn't shot, and Moses has beaten his first legit contender.

I'd hoped Whyte was going to be able to make things interesting and answer a question or two - sadly it really does look like he actually was as shot as it appeared, and we know no more about Itauma than we did before...

Still, it'll raise his profile a bit, I guess.

I’m getting Gerry Cooney vibes from Itauma. Icing aged names in a single round, until he gets chucked in there with Holmes/Usyk and the rest is/will be history…

All remnants of reflexes and punch resistance have disappeared from Whyte and he knew it getting into the ring.

It is pretty funny how Moses can't even legally buy a beer in the US yet.
