    Hrgovic just isn't that good.

Mediocre power, poor stamina... Great chin, but looks like he might not be as hard to stop as he should be, either.

He's not realistically winning a belt - he lacks a route to victory against anyone legit because he won't be able to knock out contenders and won't be able to win on points unless he dominates early, which he won't against anyone solid.

Decent enough fighter, decent to watch, but he's going nowhere overall IMHO

On second thought, Hrgovic should hang up his gloves, he's suffered too much damage and from fight to fight you can see that he's more and more exhausted from boxing, he had some good fights and it was fun to watch him, but he should do something outside of boxing, there's no shame in retiring at this point...

I'd like to see Itauma vs Hrgovic, arguably the best chin in the division vs the best puncher. Hrgovic should at very least take him some rounds at best actually gives Itauma a real test.

It would be interesting to see how Itauma deals with someone that has a good one-two but I just see Hrgovic's cuts re-opening all over again if they fight.

With that cut he is probably out for 6 months. They need to fix it and let it heal properly.

Best fight for Ituama would be Hrgovic, but that's risky as hell for Hrgovic to take, don't know why he'd do it.

Plus his eyelid is ****ed so he's out for a while.

Best for Hrgovic is to stay fit, heal, wait for the WBO to strip Usyk, hope he somehow gets Parker's first defense instead of Ituama.

    He scored a clear decision.

"Hrgovic should hang up his gloves. Its over".

This is why fighters are scared to fight anyone. If they don't look like god against decent competition they are failures and their entire life is a waste.

It wasn't as easy as it should have been but we should not be at a place where we calling for peoples retirements for winning 9-1 fights against decent fighters. Not a statement win but "theres no shame in retiring at this point". You're acting like he got knocked down by a MMA fighter or something.

I dont think they will give him Itauma next - too risky for his career prospects
He could go sideways and fight second / third tier boxers like, Sanchez, Bakole but this doesn’t help anyone
    So I think the options:
    - Parker - he will get the Usyk spot
    - Kabayel - very interesting match but I’m not sure financially interesting, also I don’t think Kabayel will risk his run although winning would very much help his goal to get a shot at a belt
    - Okolie - also interesting coming from lower weight class and being a bit faster
    - Dubois rematch - interesting for Hrgovic to cement himself as potential belt candidate but don’t think financially interesting for Dubois

so I would think either Okolie or Kabayel next for Hrgo

Hrgovic had one scary round, and every other round he absolutely boxed the face clean off Adeleye. And in his worst round, he still knocked Adeleye down. Adeleye didn’t win a single round on my card.

why does that mean Hrgovic is shot? Because he got cut? He always gets cut.

His cutman did do a damn fine job last night. You’re hrgovic’s cutman, you know you’re having a busy night and better be ready :D you’re not there for a contingency, you’re the most important guy in his corner.

Kabayel would be a heavy favorite against Hrgovic, stylistically also completely wrong for Hrgovic who neglects defense...
