He should have never have fought Whyte and fought Kabayel or Bakole instead.

Right now it's an easy fight for Usyk.

Usyk is too proven and too good ATM for Itauma.

Itauma may look good early on but it will be really tricky for Itauma as the rounds creep in.

    Who would win?
The exciting but totally unproven young gun with outstanding questions over his gas tank and chin?
    Or
The P4P great that's beaten the best in the division and is talked about in terms of ATG status?

    Gee I don't know hahahaha

Look, Itauma maybe all that he looks to be. He might dominate for years to come and end up being considered the best to ever lace them up. But he doesn't belong in this conversation yet imo.

Whyte would've lost to Jake Paul tonight; he is absolutely beyond washed up. One half-decent clipping shot and the fight was over. Usyk bamboozles Itauma because he's too used to having it all his own way; he wouldn't be able to figure Usyk out, it's far too premature, and he has done nothing to deserve it.

Usyk would have to be the favorite

I hope itauma can further cement his contender status

The kid needs more time. I see no reason to rush Itauma by prematurely putting him in with Usyk or any of the current top heavies. He hasn’t even got 50 rounds under his belt yet.

This is revisionism. What about the notion that Moses was so good that he made Whyte look shot? He looked pretty sharp in there to me before he got clipped. He never had great balance and coordination. Moses is just that good.

He has elite, hand speed, power, accuracy and punch selection, and can move. How many HW opponents has Usyk fought with that package? Let me help you out. Zero.

Did you just say that with a straight face?

Whyte looked out of it from the walk in. Looks like his leg is screwed up, too. Took center ring and did nothing, hardly threw a punch, and then immediately backed up the first time he got hit. Barely gets clipped on the top of the head and starts wobbling, lets Moses tee off on him, never fires back, then eats a right hook and goes down.

Some of the cab drivers Moses faced in his first few pro fights put on much better performances than Whyte did tonight. Dude was already heading towards dones-ville back when he got sparked out by Fury. Then it was failing drug tests, being wildly inactive, and looking shot versus the likes of Hammer and Tetteh. This guy saw a last big payday and took it. As usual, the mouth breathers ate up the pre-fight propaganda and Whyte taking Ozempic to come in a bit thinner than normal.

Moses is athletic with fast hands and quick feet. But we knew all that already. We needed to see someone that would go in there and at least give him some looks. Who would at least fire back at him and test his chin a bit. Whyte threw like five punches total and fell over immediately. Absolutely pointless fight.

I think we area getting a little ahead of ourselves. Props to Ituama for passing this test, but I am sure there are guys out there who can give rounds to him. They can start with Hrgovic, who, if nothing else, makes a fine punching bag.
