Hard to say at this stage but obviously cant count Moses out at all. If I was his handlers I would be doing whatever it takes to build towards this fight.... but they need to be putting him in with some durable opponents right now, its been over two years since hes gone past the second round, thats great for hype but horrible for actual growth.

They need to start taking his career seriously and put him in with some fighters who will test him and build him.... then he can be ready to take on AJ.

AJ couldn't keep DD off him, imagine what Moses does to him.

I still can't think of a heavyweight better than him aside from Usyk. Parker and Kabayel are more proven and more deserving of a shot at Usyk but imo Itauma is better than both of them.

Firstly only way Hearn would put Joshua in with Itauma is if it’s a Title shot,if that reality were to actually play out then we all know how Joshua performs when going in with a noted puncher and Itauma even as green as he is would be the scariest puncher Joshua has faced.

In terms of ability, then it's not a crazy comment, Itauma is going to be the king at HW within 2 years I'd say, but as of right now, I still don't think he beats Parker.

he looks to have very good fundamentals though so I expect there’s plenty of time in the gym. I’d put him in with AJ now, he’s a level above Dubois imo and I reckon he’d do fine with AJ use now.

Fury, Kabyle and usyk however I’d avoid for now

needs more rounds before those 3.

If Parker is his next fight, then it plays out like David Haye vs Carl Thompson, I reckon. It's far too soon for Itauma, who has zero experience taking on anyone who is even remotely near the top 10.

The mistake is assuming Whyte at 37 (not old for a HW) was shot and not remotely near top 10. He came into the ring in the best shape in many years, clearly took this seriously, why was he so washed at 37 suddenly? Because he outclassed by a phenom?

Whyte literally is nowhere near the Top 10. Go look at the rankings. You won't see his name anywhere. BoxRec has him at #32 which is honestly generous.

And losing some weight doesn't mean you're in tip-top shape for a fight. In fact, losing too much weight too quickly will severely affect your punch resistance. Which looked to be the case in this fight because Whyte barely got touched and was already looking wobbly as hell before Moses went in for the kill.

    Stop embarrassing yourself, brah!

Joshua hasn't defeated a top 10 opponent in 8 years.

This is what Deontay Wilder did to Robert Helenius 2 1/2 years ago, who was less shot than Whyte was Saturday. Now look at the state he's in.

I don't see Itauma doing stuff like that yet, so pump the brakes.

He needs to 1 punch KO a euro bum before he impresses you?

No, that still wouldn't impress me. Just trying to keep things in perspective.
