Filip Hrgovic challenges Moses Itauma - It will be amazin fight

Impossible to gauge how good Itauma is at present. Have to favor Hrgovic due to experience, durability and by being a proven operator. We know Itauma hits hard is offensively good and looks the part in general, but questions remain about how he would fare against someone who could take his best shots while landing their own and taking him into deep waters.

 

I think Chisora is more likely for his next fight. Durable, tough and should ask some questions but a fight Itauma should win.

 

I don't think there is any way of knowing, because not enough data on the chin and stamina of Moses.

They are rated 1 and 2 in the WBO, so the fight makes sense, but Moses will probably get the shot at Parker, now.

 

Hrgovic would at least hit Moses in the face at some point and make him work for the KO.

But footwork and speed would be against Hrgovic here. I think he takes a sustained and damaging beating until he eventually topples.

There's always the chance that Itauma has David Price's patent hamster lungs and balsa wood mandible, but there's an even greater chance that he doesn't. In which case everyone bar Usyk is screwed.

 

Hrgovic has no head movement, and is a sucker for hooks.
Itauma murders him.

 

This is the perfect fight for Moses imo, Hrgovic is tough enough to not get blown away, skilled enough to make him think and can test Moses’ stamina without being too much to handle.

 

I want this fight to happen. Whyte fight really didn't answer any questions in regard to Itauma's chin, stamina and ability to deal with adversity in high pressure moments. I think Hrgovic has the right combination of attributes to really test Itauma before he steps up to the very top level.

Hrgovic has the chin to hopefully not be blitzed early and Hrgovic does set a good work rate as he's really only effective when coming forward and throwing punches. So he should be able to test Itauma's gas tank.

Hrgovic also has the most consistent right hand in the division which should serve him well against the southpaw Itauma. The only area he really lacks is power so he might not be the real chin test for Itauma but he does have enough pop on his shots to hurt you if he can land regularly enough.

It kind of shows how far Itauma has come in the past year or so. I had previously thought this fight was too big a jump but it's clear Itauma needs a big jump in level to be tested.
