Pacquiao had the option to return to the scene of the crime and rematch Horn too.

Kinda like a few years ago, and even again more recently, when No Limit were bangin on about having both Tyzyus headlining a show over in Vegas, the same weekend as the NRL opener over there.

Or like when George Rose said they were planning a 3-day boxing festival, similar to the "magic round", ending with Tim fighting Tony Harrison.
Again, that was just bull****, there was no 3-day festival, and just ended up being a normal show with Tim and Tony.

No Limit have not been good in building up Australian boxing, sub par PPV shows doesnt grow the sport. Competitive well matched cards on normal subscription takes a bit longer but builds the sport

Apparently there is an issue between No Limit and Michael Zerafa. No Limit said he no showed the press conference but Zerafa is saying he was told not to attend. He is now on his social media threatening legal action for defamation of character. Not sure if his fight will still be going ahead on Wednesday night?

Micky Z went off yesterday at the Tszyu boys, particularly Nikita, & didn't miss. Not surprised he was 'uninvited' from the press conference. Would have been drama had he been there. The kind that could have spiraled out of control. Pretty confident he'll be there to weigh in tomorrow. The funny thing is he's not even fighting one of the Tszyu's.

Fair enough lol. No matter what Zerafa says at the end of the day he had his chance to fight Tim Tszyu when it mattered and he is the one that pulled out.

Boys... it's all contrived BS. I pay it absolutely no mind whatsoever. All designed to get a few more PPV buys for what I assume is a card that won't be selling too many.

Yeah, cant imagine the ppv selling well and still plenty of tickets remaining.
Despite what George Rose says, Nikita Tszyu isnt a ppv draw

I like watching Nikita because he's flawed. Doesn't move his head and likes to mix it up. I genuinely don't think his ceiling is that high. Wednesday's show doesn't excite me much to be honest. It's a Fox Sports level card.

Yes, but you wouldn't spend $60 on a ppv to watch him

To be fair, No Limit did put on a revised scaled down festival in Newcastle. It was a long long day. It had 19-20 professional fights.

The promoters had the idea to run two rings at once, one outside but the weather canned a lot of the outdoors festivities they had organized. Night ended with Dennis Hogan vs Sam Eggington. Crowd numbers werent high but atleast there were plenty fighters, aussie boxing figures and serious boxing fans around. Sat right in front of Tim and Nikita for the main fight funny enough
