Instead of fighting old Foreman, Holyfield defends his title against prime Ron Lyle. Will Lyle have his hand raised as new heavyweight champion of the world?
This would be an exciting fight while it lasts. Holyfield liked to get in there and mix it up,it could turn lively. The real Deal has a few dicey moments but stops Lyle eventually. Holyfield wko 5-7 rounds
It could look like the Cooper fight if Holyfield is wants a tear up or doesn’t respect Lyle (very possible) or it could be a shut out like Rahman, Mercer and Tyson 1.
Holyfield wins comfortably if he chooses to box, but I feel he’d be drawn into a fight, and maybe get rocked or dropped, but he gets up to outlast Lyle and stop him mid-late rounds.
Yes I thought perhaps something like the Cooper fight. A bit of a war actually. He always liked a good scrap lol.
Holyfield is the obvious favorite probably by late stoppage 12th or so ,but this fight is farrr more dangerous than his fight with Bert Cooper . He gets dropped by Lyle he might not survive.
