Jake Paul Phony Fights Discussion

If I was advising Jake Paul he would fight Tommy Fury next, then Badou Jack for the title.

Tommy Fury is winnable, he's improved more than Tommy has since their first fight. Badou Jack is ancient and is one of the weakest champs in boxing.

If he's ever gonna win a title, it would be from Badou Jack.

 

Jake paul is not stupid .

Of course from a sporting perspective jake paul does bot have the slightest chance against AJ in an open bout . In fact it has the potential for jake to be really carried out on a stretcher and take permanent brain damage from the fight .
Jake knows this and surely its not what he wants to present to his fans .

So its very very strange what his deal with AJ is , i do not know

 

It’s just smack talk and nothing more. Jake won’t fight AJ.

I saw the idea of Badou Jack. That’s actually a good one. Jake might actually be able to win.

AJ? After what just happened in Japan? Yeah, no.

 

Nothing will be funnier when Jake Paul fights Badou and its competitive. All the people who trash him will ignore that it's competitive and say “HAHA HE LOST.”

The fact he beat Chavez who is still a “real” boxer has broken some people’s brains. Because you can no longer say he fought a retired fighter, MMA fighter, old guy, etc.

For whatever reason, it’s impossible for some people to say “you know what, Jake is a tool but I credit him for actually fighting when he never had to. He has shown some skill.”

 

Jack would beat him up despite his age

Chavez hasn't been a real boxer in years when you put it in to context

Credit to him, sure he has done well but he isn't daft

 

What is a real boxer? We need some parameters here. People just can’t give Jake any credit, I don’t like him but I can at least say he’s done better than I thought.

When he beats an active fighter that's either on the rise or established ill be alot more impressed

 

Jake is extremely poor and unproven boxer.

 

He`s beat nobodies and lost to a novice who struggled with KSI.

 

Mate the guy sucks he has literally had everything his own way including sparring you don't learn anything like that you just gain false confidence he won't know what to do when he is actually tested. His opponents have all been carefully selected. I would seriously pick a lot of amateurs making their pro debut to beat him quite easily because at least in the amateurs you are tested you don't get to pick your opponents.

 

You know "Jake Paul is making more money and getting more attention then any other prospect and its unfair and disrespectful" doesn't farm outrage like "Jake Paul is a fraud whose rigging his fights and can't outbox senior legends unless they throw the fight".

Its really that simple. Things are so bad in the world we can't get mad about little things. They need to be big things.

I personally hope it happens because I would love to see this clown get the hurting he deserves but I don't think it will happen. Jake is all talk he is ultimately a coward and will find a reason to pull out of the fight and blame Eddie or AJ then go on to fight one of his regular type of opponents.

 

Clearly Eddie Hearn wants the $$ and is pushing this -- and was saying 3 days ago that it's nearly "done."

So, what would transpire if AJ stepped into the ring with the YouTuber?

Would AJ allow himself to seem ungrateful and knock Paul into next week within the first 2 rounds?

Or would he go to the other extreme, and politely carry Paul to a decision?

Or would he meet halfway, carrying Paul for 3 or 4 rounds and allowing Paul the relative dignity of declining to answer the bell for Round 5?
