Don't really wanna know to be honest.

Its a bit of a joke from AJ considering he just fought Ngannou and now be may actually be fighting Jake Paul.

Its been quite a while since he last beat a proper top 10 guy.

AJ knows why we want him to take this fight. He knows that if he takes it, he's in there to defend the honor of the sweet science. He's selling his soul if he does anything but go for broke and stop this youtuber boxing nonsense.

If he hits Paul with the same shot he KOd Ngannou with, I don't see how that doesn't send Jake to the hospital or worse? I don't think Jake rigs his fights but I have to assume there will have to be some sort of gentleman's agreement that he won't actually try to kill Jake for this fight to go through.

Sort of how Jake was notably holding back against the incredibly faded Mike.

Jake against Tyson was a different thing. Tyson was an old man. Jake is a fit young man who can easily step foot into the ring as a HW. Didn't he hit 230 for his fight with Tyson?

I still think there's no way this happens. I can't imagine Jake is actually this dumb, and I have to imagine AJ is too proud to sell his name by holding back. AJ already has earned generational wealth, it's not like he needs the money.

If I were AJ, I'd agree on it, no gentleman's agreement, but I'd demand as part of the contract that they have an ambulance on site, paramedics ringside with oxygen and a stretcher. Not even joking. Like you, I think anything could happen if AJ hits Jake with the shot he KO'd Ngannou with.

    Why even speculate?

    This is circus level stuff.

This sport is often called "prize fighting". The prize is $$$. This would be such an attractive spectacle , drawing in casuals and also people who want to see Paul brutally ko'd that it would make HUGE money. AJ would certainly earn his biggest paycheck with ZERO risk.

Who's to tell AJ he shouldn't make that much dough? It's his job FFS.

Someone who goes life and death with a nearly 50 year old Anderson Silva gets smoked by any top 50 HW in the world.

Yeah, on paper Jake is a decently sized boxer, but he's always made sure to fight older smaller fighters than himself. He's never been accustomed to taking any big shots from anyone. Tommy Fury probably hit him with the most power out of all his competitors.

If Jake is serious, AJ's people should make it clear the medical risks he puts himself in and if he still agrees, then yeah AJ should hit him with whatever he deems fair to win.

    Of course it's circus-level stuff.

Why speculate? Because AJ's promoter is clearly determined to make it happen.

I have no doubt Fast Car Eddie wants to make the fight but speculating on the result of a sham like this is a complete and utter waste of time.

I dislike circus style fights but in this case would love to see Paul KTFO. I can't stand his cherrypicking and would love to see it. I've never been Joshua's biggest fan but I would be on that night.

Joshua beating Paul would be even more meaningless than Fury's cousin already having beaten Paul.

It's all about this stuff $$$$$$$$$$. The result may even be a fix but fix or not, it will be absolutely meaningless!

Tommy Fury's leftovers. How far Joshua has fallen!
