If he wants to keep the belt he can negotiate a fight with Parker for a date he can make.
If he doesn't he can drop it.
    Surely it's that simple?
I don't see what an extension does except hold the division up and **** Parker around tbh.

Hard to see it any other way really. But at the very least some transparency is required and instead, all we are seeing is double standards.

Time for the WBO belt to be stripped. The division needs to move on.

Of course you are right . An injury has nothing to do why you need an extension to even negotiate your mandatory title defence .

Surely asking for 90 days is pushing it. 30 days seem fair and I can only assume that they have shown some evidence to the WBO to get the extension.

Really they only need to answer one question, will they fight Parker or not? From there I'm sure Parker will be accommodating in negotiating a fight date etc that suits Usyk. The only thing Parker said is that he'd rather not fight on the 25th of October because its his brothers wedding.

If they don't want to fight Parker, fair enough Usyk is getting on and has had some hard fights, let him drop the belt and move on.

In reality he will have over two months to reach this decision which should be plenty of time to have a holiday, spend some time with the family and then decide what he wants to do.

Thinking about it more, despite what Usyk said after his last fight, he is feeling his age way more. And he is trying to get as much time as possible to see if he can recover and still has enough in the tank to be at the top.

I think he'd like to fight Parker and keep all his titles, but not if he doesn't feel 100%, otherwise he will have to take an easier more money fight and split his titles.

I *suspect* the issue for him is not about a date but perhaps deciding if he is capable of continuing and operating at the same level. I imagine if his gym readings drop off he’ll likely pack it up. Could be wrong just a guess

I hadn't thought of that to be fair. Is that the sort of thing they'd have seen in camp for the Dubois fight do you think?

I know he wouldn't want to share it with Parker, but Joe's genuinely the kinda guy that'd give you the time to work it out I reckon.

Please lets stop to be naive . Usyk never intended to fight parker and he never will . The same is true for kabayel .

Unfortunetly he wobbles around to not get stripped , he is not man enough to free up the division by vacating the belt

Yes he alluded to it on his decision to continue after fury 2. I believe he’s got a whole team monitoring his vitals.

In 2023, Usyk had signed to fight Fury on December 23. He also wanted to fight Hrgovic in February when Fury suffered the cut.
