I'm thinking... Filip Hrgovic Andy Ruiz Jermaine Franklin Jarrell Miller Michael Hunter Zhilei Zhang Hughie Fury Guido Vianello Hrgovic , Ruiz and Zhang- I don't think they'd take the risk with those for his next fight. And Hughie Fury never gets opportunities these days, it's like promoters don't want him on their shows. I reckon they'll go with Franklin, Miller, Hunter or Vianello next.
Are you just looking at weak contenders/gatekeepers? I'd like to see Itauma fight Kabayel/Chisora/Hrgovic whilst Usyk fights Parker.
I think the most interesting and appropriate fight, given his level of experience, would be Jared Anderson. Anderson looked vulnerable against Bakole but I think there is a lot of ambition and fight left in Anderson. This would be a perfect fight for both of them.
Itauma would shatter Anderson's glass jaw as badly as he did Whyte's Anderson cant taken a punch to save his life. He's a KO waiting to happen, again: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/jared-anderson-has-a-glass-jaw.724549/ Itauma would obliterate this glass jawed joke early, no question
Calm down he's 20 he's not Kabayel territory, let him build against Franklins, Wallins, Chisoras... in SEVEN YEARS he will still be a baby in the division..
I mean I do agree, however Itauma's team are pushing for the Usyk fight next year and he'd only deserve such a fight if he could beat a genuine contender rather than a weak gatekeeper.
Hey, that's how they still treat Dubois, poor 27 yo kid who is still growing. Granted, that may have something to do with the crayon lodged firmly up his nose
Miller or Ruiz would take him a few rounds but it depends if they trained properly. Ruiz from the 2nd Joshua fight could be as much of a waste of time as Whyte vs Itauma.
