From a legacy and championship standpoint, sure!

But from the perspective of my entertainment, watching Paul get stretched definitely would not be meaningless. I'm looking for a highlight reel KO.

I don't agree with this at all. My 12 year old niece knew who Jake Paul was when he first started fighting and that he was a "bad guy".
Paul is proof how there is a huge audience who don't care at all how good fighters are. It is the same way professional wrestling has a huge advantage entertainment wise with not having to stick to reality.
I have no interest in anything Paul does but when I was a teenager I am pretty sure I would have been a big fan of Paul. All my friends that watched Tyson vs Spinks were instantly much more into the UFC. Early UFC was a far bigger spectacle than a Paul fight. There was nothing "cool" to my teenage brain about Bert Sugar. Just boring, old and outdated.
This is especially true in suburban white America. Paul is the 2025 version of the great white hope for a youtube generation.
A good percentage of young Paul fans though are going to be future hardcore boxing fans when they mature.

" BREAKING: Jake Paul will face Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis on November 15th at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, in an exhibition live on Netflix, sources confirm to Mike Coppinger."

Awful. What a ****ing pointless fight

No gentleman's agreement and Tank can go full out? That might actually be fun to watch.

Paul’s gonna shock a lot of people mark my words, and Im saying this as someone who considers Tank the best fighter at 135 and possibly even 140

Jake Paul is a cruiserweight prospect, fighting a 135 lbs midget.

Jake Paul wins on size alone.

I've been an outspoken critic about the abysmal level of Twink's opposition and he and his team's steadfast refusal to fight elite opposition but credit where credit is due he's not only finally stepping up to the elite level but he's doing so against a consensus top 15 ATG

First Jake Paul fight I’m actually interested in tbh. The man doesn’t have the skill to deal with Davis' timing and traps, but it'd be interesting to see if he can handle the power.

This is a rather intriguing fight, in a comical way. Paul likes to box on the back foot while using his jab and left hook. Tank is a slow plodder, who applies methodical pressure.
But it´s a 200lb guy vs a 135lb guy, and the much smaller man is the pressure fighter.

But Jake Paul fights always end up disappointments in terms of entertainment, unless he KO´s someone early.
