I'm not going to count it out, but from win 18 to 48 almost all were ranked. You could subtract Augustus and make a goofy argument about Marquez weight jumping even though he was pfp 2 or 3. I think the number is above 25 which is right around where Ali stands.

Cool I was just asking because I had no idea. I tried to find it but couldn't find much.

I would have definitely thought at least over 20 off head.

I think Bruseles, Rios, and Juuko weren't ranked. Juuko might've just made it in. The number should be around 25 and that's ignoring the sanctioning bodies.

“Listen, Mu- Muhammad Ali is a young hungry fighter. I tip my hat off to him. But is he Floyd Mayweather? No. At the end of the day, Ali lost to a guy with 7 fights. Who has beaten me? o_O At the end of the day, I made smart investments, and I retired from the game on my terms.”

    - Floyd on why he is better than Ali

He's delusional. Floyd never beat an elite level opponent at their best. Never really challenged himself.

Mayweather doesn't have a single win over a prime ATG as good as Ali beating Foreman. Not one.

Sure he did...Frazier & Foreman, and I'm not even an Ali fan. You can toss in Liston if you believe those fights weren't fixed.

You must be new to the sport. Frazier and Lsiton weren't "at their best." Foreman was worse pfp than Corrales who was at his best, so either both are elite, or only Corrales was. Same argument for Canelo.

No not new at all. Look up any historian's top ten HW list and you'll find Foreman and Frazier listed on most of them. Frazier was just shy of his 30th birthday fighting his 32nd fight when he lost to Ali. Forman was 25 and in his prime.

Corrales was not at his best. He was weight drained at 130 and recovering from bronchitis. He was never an elite lever fighter either.

Now show me a top 100 fighters list and they’ll be nowhere near the guys who Mayweather beat.

If Joe wasn't at his best, it's because the FOTC took so much out of him. He was never the same.

Frazier was past his best, prime Frazier beat Ali.
Foreman was inexperienced, didn't know how to pace himself and blew his load and gassed out after 4 rounds
Liston was old and had a shoulder injury

The FOTC and then the Foreman beatings took way too much out of him was never the same after either fight

Prime Frazier beat an Ali who was prohibited from boxing professionally for three years and seven months in what would have been his athletic prime and was never the same after doing so.
