Evander was a combination punching late fight swarmer with a good chin, better recovery and far more stamina. He could fight like an animal in round 1 or 12. Knowing what we know about both and with Joshua's career nearly over we can look back in microcosm at both careers, he would pound Joshua into submission.

Even a slightly post prime Evander would stop Joshua IMO, and I mean the best version of Joshua.

    Dokes/Evander tko Joshua
    Cooper/Evander tko Joshua
Bowe 1 or 2/Evander tko Joshua
    Moorer2/Evander tko Joshua
    Lennox/Evander tko Joshua
    Ruiz/Evander Joshua by UD
    Byrd/Evander Joshua by UD

Holyfield went the distance in the first Bowe fight where he weighed 205.

Holyfield but its not gonna be easy. AJ is quite lethal against opponents that aren’t 250+ lbs giants that can concuss him with one punch.

Idk if it's 50/50. AJ could put up a good fight. And I don’t think he'd be a pushover. But Holyfield was too good and despite his size, had one of the best chins in the business at heavyweight. Bowe only stopped him because he was sick and he had to get off the canvas to do so.

Real Deal would beat the crap out of poor ol' AJ. Levels of will and levels of skill.

Joshua is nowhere near as versatile on the inside as Bowe. Foreman was probably hitting harder too

Having a competitive fight and going 12 with prime Lewis at 37 says enough. Holyfield beats his ass

Old Holyfield survived two wars with Lewis, arguably won one. I'm picking Holyfield here off that, as Lewis and AJ are a similar template (big strong boxer-puncher types).

Yeah Lewis could stink out the joint when he was in the mood. And yeah, Holyfield just about got knocked TF out by Cooper just because Cooper hit hard. Joshua hits harder than Cooper.

If aj hits harder than cooper then Lewis, Tyson, Foreman, Steward all hit harder than Cooper. 90s Tyson would merk aj. A game Mercer would KO aj. Bowe is more skilled than aj

Stinking out the joint.... You mean possessing superior skills and iq than aj ? Lewis had a better delivery system of power and more tools lol. You keep forgetting Holyfield has the better chin, skills and mentality. Aj folds to the superior heavyweight, sorry

Joshua just has a better backfoot game thats about it. Bowe has more varied offense, more fluid, harder jab, better at everything in the pocket including smothering. Joshua doesn't even move his head more, Bowe is just more aggressive and willing to stand and trade because he's better at it

Look how Bowe handles Gonzalez compared to Joshua fighting Helanius. Bowe is just a better fighter cmon lol
