Nope. He gets a shot because he holds the interim belt, which ironically was put up when Parker fought Joyce. Joyce was the WBO mandatory in late 2022, and people actually made a big fuzz about how he was risking his spot vs Zhang.
The WBO itself has waited nearly 3 years for their turn at putting up a mandatory.

Also, Parker was the underdog against both Wilder and Zhang, so he does deserve respect for pulling off two back to back upsets.

 

By this very forum that you are a part of and assuming you actually read what is posted, you would be quite aware that was the case.

This very forum had threads claiming Zhang was a bigger puncher than Foreman. How quickly and conveniently they forget.
