Gene Tunney with Ali’s physical attributes vs. Foreman, Frazier, Liston, Norton, etc

inb4 the power rangers come to talk **** about Foreman and Norton

 

He beats Liston and Foreman without too much issues way too skilled and crafty for either of them and neither was great against good movers or boxers. Norton would be more competitive but I feel like without the flaws that Ali had Norton wouldn't be able to win so Tunney wins a clear if competitive decision. Frazier would be the toughest matchup but Tunney did beat Greb and he doesn't have Ali's inability to defend a left hook so he might win but I'll still go Frazier here. So overall he goes 3-1

 

Does he still have Tunney's aversion to sharing the ring with a certain sort of opponent?

 

Would Gene even cope if he woke up one morning to look in the mirror (ala time travelling Sam Beckett) and find that he possessed ALL of Ali’s physical attributes?

I think he’d be looking to leap ASAP.

 

He kills all of them basically, you’re asking if someone who should be heralded as one of the smartest boxers of all time who beat arguably the GOAT could defeat these dummies? “Let the bull have the strength” the matador prevails against stupid cattle.

 

Norton is as dumb as a livestock animal next to Tunney… he butchers him, Ali, Frazier, Foreman and Liston would have as good a shot as the bull in the Spanish pits it’d be a one sided whipping on all fronts.

Willis was a bad business man, that was his chance the game was rigid against him and he should’ve played his hand it was win-win vs Tunney IMO.

 

Making your heavyweight hay on beating lightheavy Tommy Gibbons in his final fight, lightheavy Carpentier in what was his last, serious fight, and then a completely cum-drained Dempsey in ten rounds on a rain soaked canvas isn't exactly taking the hard road to the title.
