Notice, first, it wasn't a question. Nor did I mention anything about fighters getting paid for overlooking an opponent, which is weird in itself. People don't get paid to "overlook" someone.... They may get paid to take a dive or something like that... But I'm not sure how someone can get paid for overlooking an opponent.

Again, I addressed the fact you mentioned Crawford specifically. You didn't speak in general, thus I responded appropriately.

And yes, some rumors can turn out to be true, but we as adults should develop a superhuman skill called COMMON SENSE. Especially when I pointed out that when Crawford was actually asked about said rumor back before he was officially announced to be fighting his current opponent, Crawford brushed off the question to showcase he wasn't wasting energy speaking on something that some fan or journalist is trying to push. I also, pointed out that in history with Crawford and his camp...... You NEVER see them in the middle of camp discussing fighting the next opponent. If I'm wrong please show me where...... Even Bernie the Boxer.....one Crawford's most vocal coaches in his camp, doesn't jump on his platform to discuss fights with future opponents while his guy is in camp.

So don't give me the nonsense that "just because talks are rumors doesn't mean it's not true"..... Look at the source it's coming from and who is pushing the rumor. I can say right now that "rumor has it" Andre Ward has officially accepted an offer to fight Anthony Joshua in December. All it takes is for a couple random individuals to repeat the rumor on this and/or another boxing platform and people will start to run with it, regardless of the fact that the person who mentioned it, talked to no one directly connected with either Ward or Joshua or any promoter who represents either of them. But everyone gets a WiFi connection and feel they are more important than they actually are and are drugged with the idea of having "exclusive inside information" that they will attempt to create news just so a bunch of strangers show value in their cyber existence.

Based on actual facts, you know, things that are documented and/or shown on a timeline, Crawford had/has zero interest in trying to make a GGG fight and he's definitely not taking time out of his schedule while in camp to discuss the topic with anyone. If the rumor turns out to be true..... feel free to bring this post back up and throw it in my face. I'll buy you a bottle of your favorite drink

Did you see who the judges/ref is going to be for the fight?

 

Golovkin would have to really try this time. In the trilogy fight, he fought too conservatively but still won 5 rounds in my opinion. If he's not going all out then forget about it. It would be nice if he could unify all four belts and get a fourth fight against Canelo. With Abel as the trainer. That being said, i would rather he didn't because of father time.

 

I'm not the biggest fan of 2 of them. They seem to always "follow the money" with their scoring. And I hope Thomas Taylor doesn't does try to keep the action from happening organically in between the rounds.
