Itauma's manager Francis Warren has named Anderson as a potential next Opponent.

If you look at Anderson’s profile this isn’t a fight that I would expect him to take, unless he is purely grabbing cash and has given up on potentially winning some form of a world title.

It would surprise me if he agrees to this.

 

Anderson would get stopped in 30 seconds. This is a step down from Whyte and McKean. I hope Itauma goes the Parker route if Usyk vacates

Hrgovic, Miller, Ruiz, or Chisora (who already said no thanks) are the only ones that make any sense.

Ruiz makes the most sense. Good chin, not afraid to scrap, former unified champ. He’d give Ituama a few rounds.

Anderson should fight Zhang or Ruiz or even Wallin or someone like that

 

Mark De Mori next for Itauma. He needs meat in otder to continue looking like a monster.

It’s a fight I personally thought about a year or so back. A good new generation match up but the bakole lost showed Anderson still had a lot to learn and not a challenge for itauma at this point

Heard a lot of names for Itauma's next opponent now. Franklin, Pulev and now Anderson. They all share the same bracket by being a weak gatekeeper at best.

They're not journeymen but they're not step-ups from Whyte and it doesn't make sense for Itauma to keep fighting weak gatekeepers if they're actually planning on Usyk V Itauma next year.

Not convinced Anderson's team would take that fight but if it were to happen, Itauma stops Anderson in the early to mid rounds. The one thing about Anderson compared to the guys Itauma has fought, is that Anderson is quite fresh and is pretty quick for a HW. He would be the quickest HW Itauma has fought so far - but Anderson though has pretty much non existent power or chin and defense.

 

Anderson is a bit better than McKean IMO.

Outcome would still be pretty similar though.

Anderson is better than Adeleye IMO. Adeleye is Allen/British level at best, a good journeyman really.

I'm not a fan of Anderson at all, but Adeleye would lose to Charles Martin.

 

I would like to see Anderson-Itauma, but I can't imagine Top Rank agreeing to it, unless they are cashing out Anderson.

There are many others willing to fight Itauma. Kabayel has said he wants the fight.

He isn't that mentally strong and it will be difficult to rebound from something like this
