Even at 208, he'd be the size of a modern cruiserweight with day before weigh ins. Does a 205-208 Holyfield capture a title amongst these 240+ behemoths?

I think he does. He's both better and greater than all of today's Superheavyweights. Considering the depth of Holyfield's quality of opposition, there's nothing any of them could show him that he hasn't seen before.

Man, maybe. He was really good. But then there's also a reason he took PEDs till he was radioactive ... HE felt he was too small, and I think that he was right, particularly because of the way that he fought.

I think that Holyfield that beat Bowe would beat Usyka.

Unlike some forums, our thread titles require the highest degree of specificity.

In fifty years time, Holyfield will be seen the same as Marciano is now...a small guy with plenty of heart but not beating the bigger fellas.

Wrong, more smaller heavyweights are going to appear because the talent pool is going to increase.

    I meant in fantasy fights.
Marciano could never have beaten Fighter X because he was too small.

    Do you think so?
The way things have been going these past few decades are heavy s getting larger.
I can't see the reverse happening.

No he is barely smaller than Usyk.

He might be at the lower end of big enough, but he is big enough.

Holyfield was a workout fiend who trained with bodybuilders. He wouldn't stay at 208 lbs long if he were fighting at HW today.

It will happen. More smaller guys will move up because heavyweight is becoming more profitable than ever and they will be competitive with the bigger men.
