Let's be honest: is Crawford really on Floyd's level?

I feel like Crawford could have proved more rather than fighting once a year, its such a bad look.

Crawford has way more DOG in him than Mayweather ever did. He's greater than Floyd for me. Crawford takes dudes out also. Floyd would cruise.

I think Forrest was overrated. His claim to fame was beating Mosley. Outside of that, he didn't do much.

Crawford would beat Floyd prime for prime.

It doesn't matter if Floyd is greater. In a H2H matchup, I would favor Crawford because he can fight southpaw, which can negate the Philly shell. People don't want to admit this, but Floyd fought opponents with shorter height and shorter reach for most of his career.

Crawford is slightly bigger than Mayweather and he hits harder. Mayweather has been hurt by good punchers and I can see Crawford winning a decision, or maybe even a late TKO.

For a while I thought that he was he is clearly the best US fighter since Floyd but upon re watching some of his fights and re watching some of Floyd's I realized I was wrong. Crawford maybe more of a dog but Floyd was much smarter. Floyd's footwork and judging of distance puts him above Crawford.

Yep Forrest getting beat twice by a crude guy like Mayorga shows he is not that great. You can excuse the first loss because maybe he just got caught and that can happen but the second fight he was beaten on points.

Floyd has won fights without fighting exclusively out of the Philly shell. His defense doesn't break down when he uses other guards.

And that Mosley was top 5 P4P at the time and would be the best at 135, 147, ans maybe 154. Vernon also best quartey who would be the best at 135 and 140. Name one fighter in the top P4P who has a prime Mosley and Quartey on their resume from 135 to 154? I'll wait

Vernon forest fought a smart fight vs Mosley. He'd use his jab and if Mosley got inside he'd just tie him up. I woulda loved to see Winky Wright vs vernon. Oscar wanted no part of either. I woulda taken either over oscar.

Mosley style worked best against aggressive fighters. Forrest out boxed Mosley. Any time Mosley fought boxers he struggled. The only surprise in that loss at the time was Forrest being unknown relative to Mosley. Quartey was past his prime by the time he fought Forrest. Had retired for a few years then came back. He was in his mid to late 30s by the time that fight took place.

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say all great fighters have been “given hell” by lesser talent at least one time or another… and Maidana and Castillo are probably better than most of Crawfords opp.

Floyd consistently beat fighters on a higher level than what Crawford has, and usually in dominant fashion…

Im a much bigger fan of Crawford than I am Floyd, but this just is what it is..

It doesn't matter about "styles". And even that quartey is better than any fighter Haney, Crawford, Ennis, and Ortiz has faced. Again, name one fighter that any of the top guys from 135 to 154 have defeated that is as good as Quartey and Mosley!
