    Lou Ambers

Ripping uppercuts had Hank swallowing his own blood for several rounds. Hank won the lightweight title. Lou made him earn it.

"Hi Mate" Have you read any UK/London newspaper archives on Ernie Roderick prior to his fight with Henry Armstrong, you know , what he told the newspaper reporters. Also, London newspaper reports on Henry Armstrong's fight with Davey Day, before, Henry sailed to London to meet Roderick. What are the best newspapers in UK to search / archives on boxers during the 1930's. Like to hear from any of you all in England on this subject. Thank you.
