USYK has NOT been granted EXTENSION

I honestly think Parker just wants a fight. He might know now that he's gonna be elevated and is working on a fight while waiting for the paperwork to clear.
Of the viable options for a defence Wardley sells well in the UK while offering less risk than a Dubois for instance. Just guessing though

 

Warren apparently promised Parker a big fight before the end of the year, and Parker's team said they will see what kind of person Warren is and if he will be in breach of contract or not.

So it could be Dubois also, but I get the feeling that Dubois is actually looking to rebuild a bit.

 

It shouldn't have had to come to this. The WBO have handled this absolutely abysmally.

 

Dubois should be looking to rebuild for sure. But he'll do what his dad tells him, and Warren... well Warren will do whatever lines his pockets the most I suspect.

 

It will be Fabio Wardley most likely.

 

Parker did admit that his current activity levels won’t be the best prep for usyk. 2 rounds in almost 2 years. So I can see an interim fight take place even if they sign an usyk right now.

 

No , i think wbo will keep silent and will not strip usyk , usyk will not vacate but simply keep on sitting on his belts .

 

if they can all come to an agreement, then fine right? I don't think Parker wants to fight USYK in 3 months time w/o getting some rounds in the ring first regardless unless he's cashing out. My own take is that Usyk should retire let the belts become open and we see some new/exciting fights for the championships

 

Personally I think that if the Usyk Parker fight is not agreed on next, and if Parker has to face yet another banana skin, that Usyk should be stripped of the WBO

 

It seems like everyone is playing a game of who will blink first. The division is waiting for Usyk to show what he is doing, and Usyk is waiting for them to move on so he can do what he wants without being stripped.

 

Usyk will either vacate or be stripped I don’t even think that is for debate but this all depends on Parker actually. That was my point. If he enforces mandatory position without taking an in between fight , there is only either of those outcomes. Nothing more

 

Parker should never, ever throw Dubois a bone under any circumstances.

 

Well, thats basicly all we want from usyk . Come to the table and agree parker as next opponent .

All we want from usyk is to officially confirm parker as next opponent and set a fight date , then he can take his time off until the actual fight happens .

 

Usyk could have said yes before being sick. We would've Parker vs Usyk secured before 2026.
