In the second fight in particular Golovkins jab was devastating violently snapping Canelos head back at times.
Well, only 4 from the Ringside media had Canelo winning total, and that's from both 1+2 Combined. That's not much support.
Exactly. In hindsight it was a very winnable fight for him. I wanted to see a little more of what he had just done to Murata. When GGG opens up he can be a beast.
You do know that a power shot is anything other than a jab right? It doesn't necessarily mean it was more powerful or more effective than GGG'S power jabs.
He walked through them with his body in front and his head slamming back, at times ,almost getting his head taken off. Gotta give him credit for his bull neck. Regardless of whether Canelo withstood the power jabs, old man GGG rallied down the stretch winning almost, if not all the last four rounds. That should be the story of the fight.
Actually, I shouldn't even have added the third fight into the punch stats, because all anybody even talks about mostly is fights 1 + 2. In those two bouts Golovkin out landed Canelo by 81 punches combined. That's looking pretty bad for the supposed winner. It seems the fix was in.
Oh right, I forgot about GGG and his superhuman jab lmao. No dude, they just weren't that hard, sorry. Course he did, he did nothing but give Canelo free target practice until he got tired in the first 8 rounds. If GGG actually tried to fight and win from the start he'd probably get TKO'd for the first time in his life, so he just conserved his energy until Canelo slowed down.
Canelo wasn't even ahead before the rally. That's why over 30 Ringside reporters had it for GGG, 15 had it a draw and 2 had it for Canelo, this is fight number two. Canelo lost them both, credit to Canelo though, he gave GGG a hell of a fight. Canelo took some shots like he was on something, but that doesn't in any way mean he won the fight.
You're blatantly lying though, Canelo won the second match and the first is a draw. You can argue GGG winning the first but you can't really argue him winning the rematch, just a close fight that he lost. People are just biased because GGG is a scary Kazakh dude and Canelo is one of the most hated boxers ever. And you have to be pretty biased to give GGG all 4 of the last rounds in the rematch, I thought you were talking about the 3rd match.
The Ringside media scoring was exactly 34 for GGG, 2 for Canelo, and 15 had it a draw. A draw maybe at best. A draw and a loss for GGG is just highway robbery. If you think Canelo won either of the first two fights, you belong in the 2 category. Two Ringside media thought Canelo won the in the first fight as well, totaling 4 between the 2 fights. Somehow revisionist historians have turned this into Canelo being the better fighter. You can't make this stuff up.
Mental gymnastics is complaining about a decision from years ago and not moving on. The 2nd fight was a legit decision nothing wrong with it at all.
