Did you see the Huni fight?
Wardley was dominated until he landed his shot. He was taken to school. He was out of his depth.
Parker isn't Huni but he's far and away good enough to emulate what gave Huni such success while being more able to snuff out Wardleys work and avoid the big shot - Wardleys ONLY realistic chance of a win.
Add to that that Huni did it on shortish notice and only a handful of sparring sessions ahead of the fight, and Parker with a full camp is too big a step for Wardley.
I like Wardley and wish him all the success in the world, not to mention he's got boulders in his nutsack if he signs the contract for this, but Parker is clearly all wrong for him.

Wardley is WBA Interim so is not ranked by the other bodies. Apparently he has requested the WBO what his ranking would be of he dropped that title, because he needs to have a high enough WBO ranking to challenge for the WBO Interim.

What normally happens is that Wardley will get a hypothetical WBO ranking, and will automatically drop his WBA interim when he steps in the ring against Parker.

Same thing when Parker was challenging Dubois for the IBF, but because Dubois pulled out last minute Parker didn't actually drop his title.

Risky fight, Wardley is not the most skilled but is young, tough, motivated and hits hard. I feel there is a reasonable chance of an upset, especially if Parker is not as his best.

Last look the WBA didn't have Wardley listed any more.

I'm just glad this fight is getting done while folks wait on Usyk. Beats the hell out of either wasting their time in a pointless bout vs. someone outside the top-10.

Huni is better at some things than Parker but overall Parker is the better fighter and far more proven. I picked Wardley to come from behind and stop Huni, I don't see that happening with Parker.

Parker has a better chin than Huni and better defensively too. Huni is only effective coming forward and was always liable to walk into a big shot. Parker doesn't fight that way, he can pick Wardley off from range and behind the jab, beat him to the punch and then get out of range. Huni stood right in front of Wardley for the entire fight, got inside and was there to be hit. Wardley will have a far harder time finding Parker.

Wardley is basically a less talented Wilder, he's a one trick pony, terrible boxing skills but has a fight ending right hand. He'll be dangerous because of that but Parker should prove he's a level above the likes of Wardley or Huni.

Parker sometimes fights to the level of opposition and doesn't have the best defense. Could see Wardley have moments. Expect a Parker decision

So Parker has to beat 4 top 10 ranked Heavyweights in a row which is more than the likes of Fury has done in his entire career.

Say what you want about Parker but I think its unfair he has to keep taking on banana skin fights whilst still not getting a shot at the title. Yet the likes of Fury can get a big fight vs Usyk beating 1 top 10 Heavyweight since 2022 and coming off an awful performance vs MMA fighter.

    Boxing isn't fair sometimes.
