I agree with this, but I just want to add the intangible that Wardley has won every fight so far including ones he was supposed to lose against more skilled boxers.

Like said here, its true that he has a winningness which can sometimes make a difference. Though Parker is a huge step up for Wardley, and I still make him the heavy favourite.

I agree on this, not the fight we wanted but a pretty interesting fight.

Parker should win but Wardley have showed that he’s always dangerous, even late in the fight.

On that night yeah he was. No disagreement here. I like Wardley, he's good for the division and a top bloke.
I'd love to see a rematch tbh

    The Wilder effect.
It's perfect for a young heavyweight with self belief. However, if he loses badly it won't be an easy road back to contention. Props to Wardley for taking this chance though, huge respect.
    ...based on what?

Seems like its actually happening. Looking forward to this.

If this fight has a fun undercard I might fancy getting tickets for this one.

Here we go again, Parker is frozen out after becoming mandatory and promised his title shot after he gets past Wardley, only to lose to Wardley.... lol

Another landmine for the unfairly treated Parker, I'm changing my mind and will say that Parker will knock out Wardley...

Ya'll do realize that this was always going to happen, right?

Joe has had all of 2 rounds of action in the past year and a half. Even if Usyk had taken his 30-days, said sure ok no problem Joe is next, and we got that fight finalized, it was never going to be before early next year. And I guarantee you Joe wouldn't want to take that fight before next year anyway. You want him to face an Usyk who has been active and fighting every seven months when Joe only has two rounds under his belt since March of last year?

He was always going to want/need a tune up. And that's what Wardley is. If Joe loses to that guy he never deserved any of the praise he's been getting and certainly never deserved to be a mandatory for Usyk's belt.

I wonder who will be on the undercard? Lots of heavyweights looking for a fight right now - I'd really like to see several heavyweight matchups on this Wembley card.

Perhaps Itauma? I'd like to see him fight Bakole, Hrgovic, Chisora, Dacres, or Riakporhe.

Fish Eyes has said Dubois will be back in December.

I'd love to see Itauma in against Zhang on the undercard to be fair.

I saw the ring magazine is reporting this fight is nearly signed, and Parker is in Ireland now so its looking more and more likely. Quite a short turnaround camp wise, what is that like an 7-8 week camp?

I hope they have been staying fit and sharp, especially Parker as he hasn't fought since February.

Honestly, if J-Park can't get past Fabio then this new much improved Andy Lee trained J-Park might be a myth. I'm a big fan of Fabio but his flaws and limitations are glaring and as such I'd heavily back any version of J-Park to beat him. Yes, Fabio has that big punch and is tough but his skill level is poor to say the least and J-Park is much more skilled and experienced and he can punch himself and he's a very tough and durable man.

If J-Park, especially this 267lb version, is connecting with anywhere near the regularity on Fabio as Huni did he will surely register his first ever inside the distance win vs a Brit. Fabio has no defence and luckily for him Huni isn't a big puncher and has shaky whiskers.

Fabio has a puncher's chance but he hasn't ever knocked out anyone close to J-Park's level nor cracked a chin as robust as J-Park's either whose only stoppage loss was an attrition loss due to volume and fatigue

    Huni is chinny
Clarke doesn't hold the best shot either
And whilst Adeleye appears to have a pretty stout beard he's only fought Fabio and Hrgovic and to be fair to him he was knocked out by a fast sneaky right and left hook combo as he and Fabio were in a clinch which ironically was what he'd been trying to do to Fabio all night

Fabio has done great to achieve what he has coming from a white collar background with virtually no amateur experience but if Huni didn't get careless and wasn't chinny he would've lost that fight and Huni hurt him a few times IIRC. J-Park should have too much for him, a lot too much
