Dude is 5'10 and weighs in the 190s. Is it really that difficult for him to cut down to light heavyweight ?
Maybe not without dehydrating. He isn't super lean or anything but 16-20lbs (how much he would need to cut from his last few weigh-ins to make 175) is a lot in your late thirties. Hell, even half that much is, believe me.

Because for some reason LHW to CW is the only divisional jump of 25lbs. Meanwhile, other divisions have weight gaps that are near nonexistent, some as little as 3lbs. They could easily be removed from existence and it would actually benefit the talent pool as a whole in the lower weight classes (e.g. Light-Flyweight - it shouldn't exist imo). Squeo sounds like the type of guy who would be perfect for a modern 185lb division.

That's always seemed nuts to me. What's even crazier is that CW is pretty young, only 46 years old. That means for much of boxing's history, if you could not quite make the 175lb limit for light heavy, you were by default in the unlimited division - potentially a ~180lb guy in there with 300lbers!
