    I despise the freakshow that is Misfits Boxing, everything about it, these grotesque narcissist influencers and Z list celebrities but it's the only card on tonight and there are a few decent match ups on it

    Some Pole ate a clean uppercut and it cut his lip quite bad. The ref quickly called a halt to the fight, and the ringside doc called the fight off.
    It wasn't a horrendous cut, but still bad.

    Why is this a PPV?

    I subscribe to regular DAZN, which has better cards than this. Even ProBox events are better than this.

    All of the Misfits cards are PPV, if I am not mistaken.

    Its basically influencer boxing, but they are slowly acquiring more MMA fighters and actual boxers too.
    Some of these fights are exhibitions, but labeled as "Misfits Pro" fights.

    Boxrec even has dedicated pages for "MF Exhibition" and "MF Professional"

    And the PPV´s are relatively cheap too.

    Interestingly, Kalle Sauerland and Nisse Sauerland are working behind the scenes. Their 2022 cards were such a success that Misfits signed a 5 year deal with DAZN in 2023. And if the online numbers are to believe, then Misfits Boxing has been a big financial success in the PPV realm, and also their regular cards have seen lots of live viewers.
    Their deal should end in late 2027, or early 2028. Will be interesting to see if they renew.
