Golovkin outlanded Canelo clearly in the trilogy.

I was referring to the first two fights not just the second one, thank you very much

the diehard fans over on boxrec scored both fights for triple G, the first fight was by a margin of over 3 points and the second fight was by a margin of over 2 points, granted they used a decimal scoring system spread out among everyone who submitted a scorecard

all because the rematch was far closer than the first fight doesn’t mean Canelo won the second fight convincingly

but hey, someone has to stan for Clenelo

You do complain about it alot and bring it up often though and so does "ms" who's another Golovkin fan.

It was a close fight nothing wrong with the decision end of.

There's been plenty of close decisions throughout history and alot of "what if" moments but keep bringing it up isn't going to change anything.

Golovkin also won a few close decisions himself the Derevyanchenko fight is just as debatable as the 2nd Canelo fight so you can't have it both ways.

A draw is a perfectly reasonable score for Golovkin/Canelo 1. The 'outrage' says more of the emotional investment fans had made in the Kazakh KO machine. He was supposed to trap and beat up Canelo. Didn't happen. The next port of call for salty diehards is to complain about a decision. You see this trend in fighters who capture the imagination. You proclaim them greater than they've proven to be, so personal failings are drowned out with the sentiment of corruption.

Yep, but give the crooks credit, they managed to keep another L off of Canelo's record. In the 2nd fight, they managed to keep an other L off Canelo's record and replaced it with a W. These guys work magic. At worst, it should have been a W and a draw for GGG. not the other way around.

Nobody has the stan for Canelo lol, he won. Its a win. Go check the official, written records. Its GGG who needs his fans to pat him on the back and say “awww don’t worry bud you were just robbed!!!”

It’s probably pawing and tapping jabs touching the forehead etc, they don’t account much for scoring rounds, Canelo was forcing the action and doing more and having his way for the most part, until the last few rounds where Canelo was tiring and knew he had the fight in the bag.

Golovkin won the 1st and edged the 2nd IMO.

oh here we go, all because it’s the official outcome means we can’t debate it, Jesus ****ing Christ. We know robberies and undeserved wins happen in this sport all the time.

buddy, he was at a minimum robbed in the first fight, anyone who actually scored the first fight a draw or for Canelo is a filthy casual.

had triple G properly won the first fight, they may not even rematch, or triple G demands the fight doesn’t take place in Canelo‘s adopted home of Las Vegas. Where he gets preferential treatment. Remember that unanimous decision loss to Bivol where every card was 7 to 5?

I never disputed anything you said, my ire is more towards the first triple G Canelo fight, the second one I admit was very close and could see it going either way, but we all know if triple G won the first fight, the rematch is probably on different terms, mainly not in Vegas, where Canelo gets home cooking.

Actually, Golovkin just won. If he didn't knock Canelo out, he didn't win. There is no smoothing it over. Canelo gets the benefit of every doubt in every situation. If you were a Ringside journalist , you could add one more to the list of those that thought Canelo won. It would go from 2 to 3.

Golovkin clearly won the first fight and edged the second bout, I never watched the 3rd as by then I'd given up on him getting a fair shake.
