Both can punch - Al-Mashhadi has ten of his twelve wins by KO (and has one MD loss). Glass cannon Afful has all 13 victories but also four of his six losses by KO - most notably by Shinard Bunch.

The ring announcer introduces this as the co-main event. I guess that means Giovanni Cristian Scuderi and Richard Oblitey Commey fought already earlier on the undercard.

 

"Lionheart" Al-Mashhadi dominates from the jump with heavy left hands downstairs swinging in behind the southpaw jab up top. Afful has no answer but is tough.

Right jab alternating from body to head, and now roundhouse lefts whistling home into the side of Afful's head. Afful with a few spearing rights on the body diving in from outside, but otherwise vastly outlanded.
