I don't like this fight for Chisora.

Opetaia too fast and too skilled.
He hits like a tank but I don't think he'd one shot KO Chisora, and I really don't want to watch Del boy taking round after round of heavy punches like that.

Not sure what the exact injury Zurdo sustained to his shoulder is but I'm sure I recall them saying he's going to be out for a long while and then he's very likely going to want a tune up first before facing Jai, if he actually has any intention of fighting him that is. It could be over a year before Zurdo is ready to fight him. It probably will be

The WBO or WBA should allow Jai to fight for the interim title against the highest rated contender whilst Zurdo is out

CBS is ranked #1 by the WBO who is obviously a former world champ, one of the best CWs, and is coming off a good win in his previous fight and I know Jai wants that WBO belt most of all for some reason so that would be a good route to go down, if CBS wants the fight that is.

You can see Jai has a short reach.

Jai is much shorter than Dubois and Usyk's chin is proven, he's taken bombs from big heavyweights Jai hasn't.

Opetia gets chinned by everyone. Usyk, Fury, Dubious, Kabayel, Parker, Bakole, Hurgovic, AJ..

Bakole is too out of shape and Hrg doesn't hit hard enough to stop Jai.

Opetaia should leave that current cesspit of a division for heavy

Interesting proposed fight. I'm not sold on Opetaia being a threat at heavyweight but Chisora has been the bench mark gatekeeper for the division for years so kind of makes sense. Chisora will no doubt give it his all as he always does and if Opetaia wins then it puts him in the mix as a heavyweight you have to take somewhat seriously, even against this faded version of Chisora.

Opetaia will remain at cruiserweight, at least for now, after a deal has been reached for him to defend his IBF title against #1 contender Huseyin Cinkara.

Matchroom have confirmed that a deal has been reached and purse bids canceled for a fight between IBF champion Jai Opetaia and #1 contender Huseyin Cinkara. The date and location of the fight to be announced shortly.

Makes sense, Opetaia was pretty adamant that he wants to unify Cruiser before moving up. It would also slingshot him straight into a title shot of he manages it.

Hopefully the fight isn't too far away, I love watching Opetaia fights, they are always entertaining.

Cinkara may not be a bad fighter, but he seems old and is definitely not Opetaia's level, an unnecessary fight in my opinion...

If I were Opetaia, I'd be quietly asking Turki if he could help make Zurdo and Badou Jack happen instead. Opetaia would be an easy favorite over Zurdo and would retire Badou Jack.
