Isaac Cruz also declined to fight Shakur as well. Haney's already set to fight Norman Jr at WW so he's out. Keyshawn Davis is Shakur's buddy and is still trying to get his ish together from the controversy so he's not an option. I think the only guys at LW that may be willing to fight him are Andy Cruz and Raymond Muratalla.

Chris Mannix confirms that Shakur will fight in January, while whether it will be Teo is not known, as it seems HIS TEAM wants the fight but not him lol I feel sorry for Keith Connoly

Shakur fights too much like Floyd. Makes fighters nope out of wanting to fight him.

It's not his fault. I mean, he's damn good, what's he supposed to do, look more beatable? The dodging does suck though. Shakur and Lopez would be a great ****ing fight.

In defense of Teo, the fight with Haney and Shakur are “bad matchups”

both Shakur and Haney are runners. Teo is going to have to chase both these fighters.

That’s something that Teo doesn’t do.

Well here's the thing, if you're going to call yourself one of the best fighters in the world then shouldn't you be able to do basic stuff like cutting off the ring?

Yep if you talk the talk you have to walk the walk. You have to back up your claims, not do what Lopez is doing and claims to be one of the best and avoid most of the other top fighters.

He at least fought Loma but that was nearly 5 years ago. You have to keep proving yourself. Crawford is moving up and fighting Canelo, Inoue has all but cleaned out his division and is facing the one guy next that matters at his weight, Usyk has cleared out his division's top fighters with only Parker left. Lopez in contrast is in a weak division, refusing to fight Matias, Haney and now Stevenson.

Every fight I’ve seen of Teo, he’s always fighting off the back foot..

in other words, the fighters are always chasing Teo.

aint no way in hell Shakur or Haney is gonna chase Teo.

It’s 15 million down the drain. Teo can call himself the best but deep down inside it’s a stylistic matchup that nobody wants to see.

the ref is gonna work harder than the boxers in the ring because he’s gonna signal for both fighters to fight and both fighters are not gonna engage.

Some the threads created here in recent times are just plain brain dead. That one being a good example.

Agreed and also to add to what you said about Crawford and the rest, is that all of them fought fighters with a variety of styles. They're able to make the necessary adjustments expected from a top fighter. While Lopez instead complains and makes excuses everytime things don't go his way. Like after he fought Nakatani, he said he doesn't want to fight tall guys anymore. When he fought Sandor and Ortiz, he said they were runners who don't want to fight. Same thing with Haney and Shakur like its so strange why he can't acknowledge the flaws in his game. Whether be its arrogance, delusion, or the fault of the corner I don't know. Though I still have no idea why he turned down the Subriel fight when it would have been a credible name with big money, and he would have had the stylistic advantage. Like its so hard to be a fan of the guy.

Bruh I hate that smaller ring **** tho. Its so lame in personal opinion if you dont want to deal with a mover then dont fight a mover!

BS with a smaller ring, but still very good fight. Stevenson wins it regardless.

If Teo loses I bet he's gonna cry and make excuses that he didn't get a 16x16 ring instead lmfao

Why is Lopez vs Shakur a "superfight" by the way? There are only about 2/3 fights in the sport that deserve that distinction, and I don't think that's one of them. It's a great matchup, but superfight is a stretch.
