https://talksport.com/boxing/3246416/canelo-alvarez-jaime-munguia-fails-drug-test-bruno-surace/ He was caught taking steroids for the rematch with Surace but the result has not yet been overruled on boxrec? Any update on this? Should at least be an NC, I remember Bute vs Jack was changed from a draw I think into a win for Jack over a failed test. Seems they pick and choose these things. Garcia’s win over Haney has already been changed as well.
No, the article youve posted explains Sarace has 10 days to request the b sample and if that also fails then action can be taken
B sample was also positive in June : This content is protected WBC has put back Munguia number two in their ranking. As a reminder, they sanctioned Povetkin even though the B samples were negative.
Every ****ing time! Barely anyone in boxing tests positive for PED´s, and when they do, it´s ruled contamination or a false positive. The only man to really get caught was Jarrell Miller, and even he had the audacity to claim innocence.
As soon as the first false positives won its appeal the testing became meaningless. Testing postiive now just means get your biggest and best lawyers to find a loophole. Might as well shut the testing down imo
