Katie Taylor has been granted a further 3 weeks by the WBC to come to terms with Chantelle Cameron.

Her dad confirmed on a podcast she's married. Dunno if it’s to a bird or not. Think I’d give her one you know.

Her dad seems a bit dodgy. Got shot in his own gym. Binned Katie’s mum off for a woman younger than Katie herself

Fighters wearing the world title belts around the waist should be prepared to fight any challenger.

This is a decent trilogy fight and not many bigger fights out there for female fighters.

Failure to accept this fight is really a sign it is time to retire and she will know herself what is left in the tank.

Welcome to the forum, Chick Dung. I assume you are a fan of Rangers and like Walter Smith.

I hope Taylor hangs them up but if she goes on she can't ignore Cameron. It won't look good or be good for her otherwise brilliant legacy.

brilliant legacy losing to several opponents that she got the nod against not least against a police woman who boxes on the side despite being a full time boxer with a lot of money and resources behind her, and let's just say "favour"

@Murderers' Row great posts in here, by the way

Thinking of 21st century greats I couldn't see Usyk, Federer, Williams, St-Pierre, Lin Dan, Ma Long, Riner etc losing to a keen hobbyist who makes a living doing a normal job.

Even if she lost those close fights, she would still have a very good pro record and would still be the greatest female amatuer boxer ever. Add in what she has done for female boxing in terms of helping get the sport into the Olympics and getting a lot of people watching during her pro career then I'd say she's done pretty well for herself.

You haven't noticed there are huge differences in women's boxing compared to men's? That the women, up until only recently, struggled to make enough money from boxing to actually get by without working another job?

Hate to your heart's content but if you want to argue at least offer something sensible.

People don't have to like Taylor but if they don't respect what she has done they really haven't been paying attention to the sport they pretend to follow and there are posters here who do only pretend to follow the sport.

Hearn insisting Taylor won't fight until next year and says if that mean she sheds the WBC belt, so be it.

She’ll leave behind a wonderful legacy. Single-handedly made female boxing legal in Ireland and was the driving force behind it being included in the Olympics. Whether you like female boxing or not (I don’t), you can’t argue with how influential she has been. She’s a true pioneer of the sport and a great role model. I’ll buy her book if she ever does one.

Retire and live a life, what ever is left of it. It cant be good for a woman's health getting punched to **** for so long, her health will be shot to bits in 10 years. Quit and go and live a dam life man.
