If Hrgovic's cut is OK, Warren would like to have the Hrgovic vs. Itauma fight on December 13th.

It is realistic to expect that Hrgovic will lose, most are prepared for such an outcome and therefore I would not want to see this fight, Hrgovic's exhaustion and age could come to the fore in that fight...

I really don't like this one for Hrgovic unless he's getting a career-high payday by a good amount. Hrgovic isn't getting blasted to the canvas with one punch, he's too durable, but he's hittable and Ituama is damn fast. I see this one as 2-3 rounds of Ituama teeing off on Hrgovic before it ending.

They're literally wanting Hrgovic as a durable punching bag. I don't like it.

Now, I get that Hrgovic is trying to revitalize his career, but he'd be going into this with about his only hope being "hey i'm pretty accurate with my right and maybe this kid has no chin". If it's a BIG payday and he wants to risk it, fair play. But otherwise I don't like it.

He doesn't mean it. No way does Frank Warren risk Itauma against Hrgovic next

Big Frank really looking out for Hrgovic's best interests. That was a terrible cut and he's been cut in his last 3 fights all of which in the last 15 or so months. Billy goat Dubois might literally have ruined Hrgovic's career and if Hrgovic agrees to fight Moses in December that cut will reopen in a round or two

December is too soon for Hrgovic. Hrgovic Itauma should happen around March.

And Itauma should have a warm up fight in November.

Why push Hrgo before he is ready?

    Mirror those above.

It wouldn't really make sense in all parties if Hrgovic's cut hasn't healed properly as he is so prone to them, and it would take a couple rounds to reopen them too. Itauma also needs rounds here as he is such a fast and dangerous starter, and Hrgovic if healthy can provide Itauma with hard and competitive rounds too.

Also, say if Hrgovic's cut has fully healed say by October/November - is that enough time for Hrgovic to prepare? I'm not confident.

Its a really unlucky one on Hrgovic's side because even if he was healthy and he had a good training camp, he'd still probably lose via cuts against Itauma in the mid to the late rounds. I just don't know anyone in boxing who is more prone to such a specific injury.

Not a fight I'd take at this time if I was Hrgovic's management . After those cuts he shouldn't fight till next year as dmt pointed out.

I'm curious to see what Itauma does if he can't KO an opponent in the first couple of rounds.

Previously he looked a bit frustrated during his six rounders. Hopefully he has grown a bit.

He could risk it, but he definitely doesn't mean it. Throwing possible matchups out there is Warrens big move to keep a prospect relevant. Warren does this all of the time, and its just to keep Itauma´s name out there.

I think they're really trying to make Usyk V Itauma next year.

Great fight! Itauma’s power is put to the test against the iron jaw of Hrgovic.

Would be a brilliant fight for Itauma. Doesn't end well for Hrgovic though.

I mean... It's on the table, Hrgovic is begging for it, it's a lot better than other options available whilst still being winnable and indeed a lot of people would (understandably) be expecting Itauma to win...

At what point does it get called a duck if he won't take it?
