Your last word says why she won’t, has to prove she’s a man, or can do exactly what any traditional man can. It seems like it’s the sole purpose for most women these days.

I don't think it's good for anyone's health to be getting twatted over the ol' noggin repeatedly.

As for Taylor; her whole life has been sport; boxing, footy and Gaelic football. It probably seems alien to her to live any other type of life.

Like most threads here, it started on topic to its thread title until someone came along and tried to derail it. Bit it's mainly back on topic now. Though you seem like you want to derail it again.

No, she should retire, if she keeps on fighting and her fights remain the same way then she should deffo retire whilst she can still speak. She will James Toney mkII.

It's seems women's boxing is heading back to it's former standpoint in terms of popularity and what we seen was just a blip.

Boxing is quite addictive, even though it plainly doesn't do you a whole lot of longterm good and as you said, it is pretty much all Taylor knows.

Boxing has been Taylor's life and to walk away from it she needs to find something to replace it with. Otherwise she is going to find herself very lost and be prone to a comeback she should never have made.

if taylor was that good she wouldn't have looked like she was in a car crash after boxing a part-time hobbyist. Imagine Mayweather getting absolutely pieced up by some barber or or trady

and part of that legacy shows that she's actually not very good and she's had it all her own way in the pro ranks. Those are the facts.

The biggest question here i suppose is.... if you were reading the book would it be whilst hearing her squeeky voice in your mind as you read it... (I know that's how i would read it lol)

Jokes aside though Katie has defo been a pioneer for the womans side of the game and even if you don't appreciate/like female boxing any real boxing fan should be able to see she has been a mega star in her own right

But thats not really a fair way to look at it, Mayweather did have some 'tougher' nights with opponents nowhere near his level...

@Simon Says as people have said, the vast majority of female boxers are part time, so for you keep talking about this is meaningless.

Katie Taylor is a fantastic sportswoman who's had an exceptionally successful career, amateur and pro. She's even achieved a lot in the pros whilst being much past her prime.

You've not got a leg to stand on with your trolling on this. Real boxing fans respect Katie.

That only strengthens my argument. Logic clearly isn't your strong point.

Taylor is one boxer in an industry of part-timers, who has been given every resource under the sun to excel. Despite this, she still throws from her ankles and uses her face as a defence, getting ragged dolled around and getting gift decisions against part-timers. Why is there no outrage about this when the same lot of you moan about matchroom decisions every show.
